I held on as tight as I can while Storm galloped through the forest the opposite direction. Unfortunately, my escape did not last very long. Storm tripped over a fallen tree trunk and I let out a scream as I fell from his back and landed on the ground, a sharp vine scratching my ankle and I was unable to go on.

Tears trickled down my cheek as I spotted Storm on the ground as well, a cut on his front leg, and he was breathing heavily. I cried out as I tried to stand up but succeeded in hurting myself instead, and falling back down again.

"Storm! Please, get up! Leave me," I pleaded the horse, my eyes widened in alarm as some scorpions came crawling by. Even Storm was terrified. "Warn Camelot!"

Storm let out a weak neigh, and with one final neigh his eyes closed, and I was but sad that he is dead now. I let out an agonized yell.

-

A yell rang the air and reached the ears of the knights. And Leon held a torchlight in one hand and a sword in the other, "There! Follow the sound!" He gestured for the others to follow him as he leapt over a bark and rocks.

-

The scorpions crawled nearer and nearer, and I was just as exhausted, the pain in my ankle already hurt and it's getting all over me.

I am too weak to reach for my sword, and I started to sweat. My vision started to blur just as I saw Leon leaping over a bark, holding a torchlight, leading a group of knights behind him. Most of the knights helped usher the scorpions away while Leon rushes to me.

I could barely see his face, and he lifted me in his arms, I weakly put my arm around his neck. "Stay with me, Aurora," he whispered as he ran past the knights helping to exile the scorpions away from me.

I let out a soft groan since my ankle which got really painful right now I could feel the veins screaming. Sweating, and having that painful wound on my ankle, I just had to surrender and shut my eyes.

-

"How is she, Gauis?" Leon asked, wearing his usual red cape that flows behind his back, representing that he is a knight of Camelot and the chainmail uniform underneath it, with his sword belt buckled around his hip.

For an hour now, Gauis has been examining Aurora's wounds, and he has been so serious about the cut in her ankle. He looked up to Leon and pointed at the cut, the blood which is leaking from it is now dry, "Now this. This is the situation you should be worried about. This cut is made from the most poisonous vines of Camelot. Aurora must have stumbled across it, and that is the reason why she is like this right now."

"Is she going to be alright?" Leon questioned.

Gauis nodded, "She is lucky to survive such cut from such vines. I don't even think she would. It might be fortunate as well as mysterious."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Leon, has she ever tell you about herself?" Gauis asked. When Leon shook his head, Gauis continued, moving towards the door, "I have reasoned to believe that she has magical powers." He said in a voice barely above a whisper.

"But that would mean-"

"That if Uther finds out about her, Aurora would be executed. He doesn't care if she is Camelot's Captain. He will stop at nothing to have her hunted down." Gauis agreed, "I put my trust in you, Leon, that she must never know the truth about what she is."
