"It's over," Gwaine breathed.

I heard swords sheathing and I plucked my sword out of Cenred once it had killed him. I have a feeling that this is just the beginning. There is no end.

"We should be heading back, the King might be expecting us." Arthur suggested.
I was about to argue when my eyelids started to drop. I haven't been sleeping for the last few days. I thought as I swayed in my feet and collapsed.

-

"Come , come. How did this happen?" Gauis gestured towards the sleeping Aurora.
"We have no idea. After she killed Cenred, it must have overtire her." Arthur answered.

"And she has been over-practising too. Last night before we set out, she stays outside splashed by the rain as she tried to kill a training dummy." Leon added.

Gauis let out a frustrated sigh, "You shouldn't have let her do that. She may be the Captain but she is a stubborn fool." He told them, "Is there any other meetings that she must attend to?"

"We are safe for the moment," Arthur replied.
"In the meantime, let her rest in her chambers for a few days." Gauis suggested, "Should she try to get out, restrain her from doing so."

"We will do as you ask, Gauis," Leon nodded.
"You can count on us." Arthur said, opening the door for Leon as he carries Aurora in his arms.

-

My eyes fluttered open to the sound of the opening of doors. I was shocked to find a set of clothes which aren't mine handing over a divider in the corner.

Leon stepped in, and I looked at him with lazy eyes, "Where am I?" I asked him, taking in the strange surrounding.
He closed the door behind him, "My chambers. Gauis had asked you to spare a few days off training. After you killed Cenred you collapsed."

I sat up on the bed, and then let out a sigh, "How long have I been asleep?"
"Two days," he answered as he walked towards me. "I was just going to wake you up. The King's announced a celebration of Cenred's defeat and Camelot's safety which is...tomorrow."

Then a minute of silence surrounded the room since I didn't know what to say. I cleared my throat, "I uhm..don't think it's appropriate for me to be seen in uhm...your chambers." I managed to squeak out.

He snapped out of his trance, "Yes. You should probably get going now." He agreed.
I blushed, "By the way, where have you slept when I was sleeping on your bed for two days?" I asked.

"I didn't," he replied.
I cleared my throat again, "Anyways I should probably get going now." I whispered, shooting him an awkward smile before leaving his chambers.

-

I met Morgana in the hallway, and she shot me a smile, "Hey Aurora! How's it going?" She asked.
I returned her smile with a wide grin, "Fine today. How about you?"
She gave me a nod, "You led Camelot to victory, well done. I heard from Uther that there will be a jousting tournament this coming weekend."

I lit up, "Really?"
"All of them will be competing in the honor of both Leon and your wedding." Morgana squealed.
I let out a mix of sigh and laugh, "Morgana? Mind if I ask, but do you like Uther?"

She glanced around uneasily then she mouthed, "No." To me.
I quirked my brows, "But why?"
"Meet me in the forest clearing at dusk." Morgana whispered before walking past me like nothing happened.

I snuck out of Camelot at noon, though I remembered Camelot is still under curfew. And by the time I reached the clearing in the forest, it's already dark.
I saw Morgana step out of the shadows, and she smiled when she saw me. "Aurora! You're here!" She exclaimed.

I gave her my smile, but it faded when another figure step out of the shadows. My frown replaced my smile, and it was too quick for me to realise who it was.

Morgause.
