22: Two Faced

Lucy POV
As Acnologia said my name, loud and clear. I felt frustrated, shocked. Why would she want to kill me? After all the things she did for us. Every one of her children are dying one by one. I'm sick of this. I really am.

Layla, my mother, she took care of us. Ever since we were born, she made us the happiest children in this world. We felt so lucky. We had so many jokes together but why is this happening? How?

I grabbed the key and clenched my fist.

I looked up to see Acnologia's face grinning. The wind blowing past his messy black hair, his eyes looked so bloodthirsty. This wasn't a joke indeed. His deep voice made the ground shake a little bit. His laugh creeped me out. I just don't want to die. Not yet. Not now.

I turned my head to have a glance at Natsu. He was already looking at me, he wasn't smiling like he'd usually do. This time, he was looking straight through my soul. I could feel his gaze. It gave me this shaky feeling. Right now, this couldn't be the Natsu I knew.

Natsu POV
I stared at Lucy. I could see how angry and scared she was in this moment. Her eyes looked really sad. I could see her fist shaking. Lucy wasn't happy at all.

I really wanted to hug her tightly and say, "It's okay, don't be sad I'm here"

But I couldn't. The main problem here was Acnologia. The nasty guy who killed my father. Ripped his body parts apart. I saw it ages ago. On that dark, silent night in the fields. It has haunted me up until this day. Now, I actually have a chance to get revenge. I can finally put all my training to use.

Bye Acnologia. You were such a greedy bitch anyway. No one needs you here.

I turned my head to look at him. His face irritates me. He just killed my brother-in-law. In order to create peace, I must kill him.

"OI ACNOLOGIA DO YOU REMEMBER THAT TIME WHEN YOU KILLED MY FATHER?", I shouted.

Once I said that, he started to walk towards me slowly. He may look like a human but he's still a dragon. The ground shook as he took each step. His presence gave me this cold feeling.

"So you're Igneel's son?", he grinned as he licked his lips, "oh my, I get to kill two people at once"

I didn't reply. I couldn't. He made me sick. Acnologia's face made me sick. He shouldn't have ruined my day today. People should know not mess with me.

Lucy. I'll protect you. I'm here. You're not going to die here.

Instead of replying with words, I decided to settle this with action.

I walked towards him getting my fists ready for battle. I'm just warming up mate.
