Captain Flood

Kate's POV

I stand up from the couch. I stretch and I oddly searched for Nightmare. Where did he go? It's nice to know he is near. I then see Key come into the living room. I walk up to him and he smiles at me.

"Hey what's up...?" He asked and I said "Shay" with a small smile.

"Shay is a beautiful name." He says and I just think really a fake name is cute but my real name was just average. Great. I nod and ask, "Okay, so... where is umm... Nightmare."

He has an unexpected glint in his eyes.

"I don't know. He told me he had something to do." He says. I nod sadly. I know he is my mate but I still am kind of mad at the fact that he won't tell me anything about him. I mean I have a dark past to so it's not like he would be hiding anything. Right.

"So what can we do to pass the time." I asked him he shrugged and walked over to Allen. I sighed and decide to search around the place. I then get a pull towards Nightmares room. I look and see no one is around. I start to head down the hall and stepped inside.

I walked over to the side where he said he made for his mate. I sat down and I saw my bag against the wall. That's strange. I don't remember putting that there. I smile at the idea that he cares.

Boom

The room starts to shake and then a red emergency light started to light. I fall onto the bed and then I start to stand up. I tried getting to the door. Once I made it through the door I am thrown over a shoulder and I can see in the short moments of the flashes that it's Nightmare. I feel somewhat happy to see him.

He tossed me on the bed and stepped back.

"Stay here. Lock the door and don't move or talk got it." He says in a demanding voice while pointing at me. I nod then he leaves and the door shuts then I head to the door and lock it.

Tyroon's POV

Once I was done with Kate I came back into the living room where Key and Allen where standing.

"What is going on?" Allen demanded. I glare at him and he whispered sorry under his breath. I roll my eyes and say as I head to the control room, "We are being boarded."

I push a few buttons and then I push the one to show a picture of a ship out side. It was a very large ship with smaller ships orbiting it. It had very large guns and I knew who drove it.

"Captain Flood is in charge of that ship and if we don't want to be blown to pieces I would rather people not to bother me right now." I say to them.

Captain Flood is a bandit and murder. He also has a back for women which is the main reason i told her to lock her self in my room. So I met Flood once when I was twelve but never again after that. I hear the radio beep. I pick it up and hear the raspy voice of the old fool demanding for boarding. I cursed under my breath and gave them passage. I see on the small camera that they are at the landing bay. I connected thier ship to mine.

When thier ship was hooked I rushed to the Bay and I waited for the other two then I think. As much as this idea leaves bile in my mouth a say it.

"Allen go down that hallway and knock on the door and protect the princess." I tell him. He looks at Key in worry.

"He won't get hurt now go." I reassured​ him. He kissed Key on the cheek then left. That was weird. Anyways. Me and Key stand there and wait for the man to arrive.

Then the door opens and white puffs of smoke comes out of his ship. I stare wide eyes at the two Dinks that crawl out of his ship and start to flicker thier tongues. A dink is a large reptile that has a slender neck, nose, body, tail, arms and legs. It's tail has such a thin but strong end that it can cut through metal. It also has small teeth and beady eyes on the side of it's head. They also have excellent sense of smell and taste.

Two of them walk out one black with red strips down it's neck and red spots down it's back and the other one has green skin with blue stripes down it's neck and same color spots down it's back.

They crawl in and are lightning fast as they start to crawl around my ship. I glare at them then at the little man that waddles in with a cigar hanging from his mouth. He wore a leather jacket and wool pants. He had a woman on a chain holding a silver plate with wine and fruits and bugs. Her hands are chained to get her and she looks like hell.

I feel bad for her. I look at the little man and he had his second in command next to him with a stupid smirk on his face.

"Hello Flood. How is the work you do?" I ask with a forced smile.

"Great. I have gotten fifteen new slaves and I have a few buyers that want them if you know what I mean." He said while laughing. I cringe at the thought. Sick bastard.

"Great. So what gives us the pleasure of having you here?" I ask him with a sickly sweet tone. I am trying to make it seem as like we aren't hiding anything from him.

"Well now that you mentioned it. I have a buyer and he is paying top dollar for a women Named Kate Blackwell." He said. My eyes go wide.

Kate is being hunted. What the hell. Wait she might not be. There are alot of Kate's out there. Right.

"Her father is Andrew Blackwell." He said while checking his dirty nails. He said and handed me a photo. "She looks like this." When he handed me the photo my breath got stuck in my throat. It's her.

"No haven't seen her but man if I did I would keep her for myself." I say with a sneaky smirk. He smiled to and said, "True, very true but I have been told to search the ship for her."

He smiled and waved at the Dinks. The then took off a d started to search. I stood there smiling at him until I saw one head down. My hallway. Crap.

Then the green one headed towards us and sat down.

"We got one." He said. My eyes went wide and I got frantic. He headed down the hall and then I get fed up with it and head down there. He sees the black one standing at my door. He tries to open it but it doesn't work.

"Open this damn door. Your father sent me." Flood yelled. I growl at the thought of loosing her. Not going to happen. I look at key behind me and I nod he nods also and I pull two knives and tossed one to Key. He caught it and put it up the the second in commands throat and I bent down to the little man and held the knife to his neck.

He froze and the lizards stood. They looked like they were confused on what to do. I took that to my advantage.

"Attack stupid lizards." The man choked out. Then I start to hear hissing come from Key. The lizards turned to him and bowed. The they turned and growled at the little man. I raise my eyebrow​ at him and he smiled.

We have two giant lizards now.

Hmm.

When that happened I completely forgot about the girl with chains but she just stood there shocked. I nod towards the living room and she smiled a thank you.

I turned back to the little man and decided to let him go.

"Get the hell off my ship now!" I command him. He started to shake and nodded. He takes off down the hall and back to his ship. Key then let the other man go and he too runs away.

I take off to the control room and the minute they are off I detached them from my ship and put it into jump mode. I jump to the north part of the Galaxy and press the big red button.

Then we are off.
