Escape and Change of Old Ways

Eeli POV

I was put into chains in the cold, damp dungeon. I clenched my fists and yanked hard on the chains.  The made a loud clang sound as I pulled against them.

Then I relaxed.

"This is my fault." I said out loud.

"Ha! Don't we all say that when we think all is hopeless." Said a voice in the shadows. 

"What? Who said that?" I command.

"Oh, calm down. I have been here way longer than you. So if anything who are you? And what did you do to get but into the lions den?" I heard the voice ask.  Now that I heard it a second time it was female.

"I'm Eeli Blackwell.  Assassin. And you are?" I told her and waited for a response.

"I'm, the very being that has waited fo r you Mr. Blackwell." She said.

"Yes, but that still didn't  answer my question. What is your name?" I asked again.

"Well,  not many know my name but to most I'm known as..." The voice said as I saw some one light a fire in thier hand and it revealed an elf. 

"Beauty." She spoke and a light purple mist moved across the ground and crawled up my body to my shackles. The mist went into the locks and then I heard a wonderful click and the chains dropped.

I fell to my knees and sat back on my legs as I looked up at the women. The fire was as orange as a nice sunset on a April morning. 

The fire made the wickedness in her eyes more profound and I looked up at her while rubbing my sore wrists. 

"So, how long?" I asked her.

"Oh, a few thousand years. Time on this planet is so much faster than in our dimension." She said.

"So, if you could have left at anytime then why no?" I asked.

"Because,  before u had no reason to leave. But now that there is about to be a war between a group of individuals and the vampire lord I will not miss out." She spoke with a smile. I nod and stood up.

"Well, how do we get out. I have to warn my daughter of this hell before it is acted out in less than a year." I said to Beauty.

"Oh,  very well then." She said with a pout. She let that same purple mist leak from her hand and it crawled to the door of the cell and unlocked the door.  We both hurried out and kept close to the walls.

We looked around and saw no guards. Wow really.

We walked down the hall and I peaked around a corner.  I saw two guards asleep while resting on thier spears and I chuckle at the sight.  We don't want to drag attention just yet until we are out of the dungeon.  I looked back at Beauty and held my pointer finger to my lips.

She smiled and leaned close to my ear.

"I'm, going to let you have the challenge and see you on the outside." And with that said she kissed my cheek and vanished with purple smoke everywhere and I growl lightly.  She left me alone to escape when she probably could have gotten us out with in seconds.

I sneak past the guards and head up the stairs to the castle.

Once up there I sneak down the hall and pause as soon as I heard voices. I look around the corner and saw two guards talking.

"Yeah, bro I heard that the Hybrid is smoking hot. And that little Kate chick is even hotter. If I get to take her down to the dungeon I might take her somewhere else if you know what I'm saying. Ha." One of the pricks said.

"Okay, I got to go down and check on the the prisoner catch up with you later." He said and they said good by. As soon as the smiling prick came around the corner I stood up, wrapped my arm around his neck and squeezed.  He let out a struggled wheeze and I brought my lips to his ear.

"The second girl is my daughter." And after I said that twist my hands and a nice snap was heard as his limp body fell and I started to undress him. I changed our clothes and and started towards the front of the castle. 

The guards wear gray pants, gray shirt with straps in the front, and a gray square hat on top of thier heads.  I pull the hat down enough to cover my face but not to look suspicious.  I head for the front gate and as soon as I am about to step foot outside the gate I am stopped.

"Where ate you going soldier?" I was asked.

"Border patrol, sir!" I said and saluted. 

"At ease soldier. Carry on then." He said and turned away." He began to walk away until I heard him whisper.

"The prisoner has escaped.  Lock down all exits and entrances." And with that I took off towards the exit as the door was coming down quickly. I ran and looked up at the large metal gate that was closing rapidly as I ran faster I decide to slide on my side right as I made it past my hat fell of and I reached under to grab it.  I pulled it safely with out damage and took off to the city. 

I maybe old but I can still run as I head down the road. I came to a stop in front of a shop and went in.  I slowed down and smiled at the women behind the counter.  I walked by some cloths and grabbed some black jeans, blue t shirt, and a black hat. I went into the changing room and got changed as I ripped the tags off and stepped out of the changing room.

After walking out of sight of the front desk I snagged a leather jacket and put it on and checked a few other clothing and headed out.  I walked past the front desk and saw no one there which oy made my get away that much easier.

Once out I was accompanied by none other than Beauty.

"Wow,  nice get up.  Come on we need to get to your daughter." She said. I nod and we head in the direction that she was told.

We get to a large mansion and I walk up to the door. I knock twice.  No answer. This time I banged on it twice and when I thought no answer I lift my fist up to hit the door again and then the door opened up with my beautiful daughter there.

"I need to tell you something important." I said.

"Let him in." I heard Tyroon say and I narrow my eyes at him.  They must behaving a meeting with all of these people.

I step inside and Kate walks back to where I'm guessing she was sitting.  Beauty came in also and sat on the corner of the couch in the room.  I shut the door and came to stand next to Tyroon. 

"We have a problem." I told him.  He looks at me.

"What?" He asked.

I looked at all of them then back at Tyroon.

"The Vampire lord is on the hunt for all of you."
