Promises

Tyroon POV

I open my eyes to the warm sun coming through the shades and look down to see Kate snuggled up to my side. I breath in and smile at her.  I reach my hand over to her forehead and uncover her beautiful eyes from her black hair in front of her eyes.

I smile when I see her smile at me. I lay back and think of what happened yesterday.

-Flash Back-
After I threatened her I opened the door and we get out. I hold my arm out for her and she loops it with mine. I lead her to the door and open it for her.  She watches me and I smile innocently at her. 

She step inside and I wave the limo off. I step inside and smile at her as I unbutton the jacket and head towards her.  She looks at me with worry and want. 

Good.

I walk past her and take the jacket of.  I heard her let out a strangled breath and I smile. 

I began to untuck my white shirt from my pants and I start to unbutton my shirt. I take it off and turn towards Kate with a smile until I saw her. My smile went away quickly and I felt a growl rise in my chest as I gaze at her.

"You shouldn't tease." She said to me as she held her dress in hand.  She walked past me in just her under garments and I chuckle.  I turn to throw my shirt on the couch and I start to run after her.  She must have heard me cause she takes off running to the back door. 

"Well I did say let's go for a swim. I chuckle as I chase after he. I'm so glad that the lake house is in the middle of  the forest or I would have killed alot of men if they even look at her. She dropped the dress and ran along the dock as she got to the end she leaped off the ledge and dove in. I loss my pants while running and I dove in right after her.

I swam to the surface and didn't see her. I frow my eyebrows as I look around for her. Then out came a smiling Kate as she giggled and pushed me into the water. I sunk under then I swam to her waist and pulled her down with me.  We looked at each other in the clear water as I look at her.  I see her smile and bubbles leave her mouth as she she swam to the surface and I followed.

We got out of the water and we went inside to change.  I got in loose sweat pants and I just gave her one of my large gray T-shirts. 

All day we talked,  played around, chased each other, swam a bit, slept. All the good stuff.  We had a light lunch so that we didn't  spoil dinner and we sat on the dock me leaning on my arms and her with her head on my shoulder. 

We watched the sun go down and I smiled.  This it the life I expected for us.

As the sun went behind the trees and darkness was being formed in the sky. I watched as the firefly flew high and I smiled as I saw them.  I look from the fireflies to Kate and see her eyes shine in there presence.

"Hey let's go inside and have some dinner." I told her and she smiled as she nods. 

We walk inside and have some steak and bake potatoes. We eat while stealing glances at one another.

I chuckle when I see Kate eat.

She is not afraid to eat like a beast and I chuckle at her as she sticks a full piece of potato in her mouth.

She looks at me and shrugs her shoulders then goes back to eating food. I smile and continue  to eat.

After we eat we go and sit on the couch. I rest my arm behind her head and she leans against my chest.  I sigh and smile.
