My Past Is Back

I stare at the boy that I can only recognize with his voice. The last time I saw Ark was when he was killed in front of me so many years ago, and if he is still alive does that mean that the rest of my family is still here. I should be subtle while question about my life here. 

"So, what is school again?" I ask as Ark walks in front of me. 

"Wow, you really are an idiot. School is where adults think you are supposed to learn. Oh, and mom and dad think you and all of us should eat at the Blackwell's tonight. So you and your girlfriend better make it this time. And you should really tell your other friends to go home this time." He said while glaring at Allen and Key.

I look at the two and see them holding hands and I mouth "O" in realizing that he doesn't  like the fact that they are gay.  I nod and as soon as I was about to follow Ark into the school I heard a high pitch whistle  sound and I turn to see a man running.

The man ran and from what I could see as he ran past me was he was well built, had dirty blonde hair, and was wearing dark blue jeans with a white T-shirt. I watch him take off and I watch him,  but right as I turn around I am hit by a girl.  We fall to the ground with her on top of me and I can feel her heart beat speed up. I look at her and she looks at me and stares. 

"Hi?" I say to her,  wondering why she is looking at me like that.

She continues to stare but then she shakes her head and gets off,"Sorry... ", she trailed off and that's when I see a man grab ahold of her arm. 

"Hey,  what are you doing?" I growl at the man.  He wore blue clothes,  was worn out from the run because of his over weight,  and a gun was strapped to his waist. I glared at him and he stood there trying to look as intimidating as me.

"Get lost kid." The man growled out and I grabbed his arm with my stone grip.

"No, how about you get lost." I say in a deadly whisper. The guy reaches for his gun and my group steps to invade. My brother leaps in between us all and holds out his hand to separate me and the guy.

"Mr.  Bruce. I apologize for my younger brother I will be happy if you let this slide for now. I will sure be happy to tell my father the mayor a good word about you." Ark said to the guy. The man released the girl and stepped away.

"Very well Mr. Striker.  I apologize for the trouble." With that said the man turns and walks away leaving  me in complete disbelief. I watch but then a hand smacks me in the back of my head.

"You,  idiot!  What is wrong with you?" He growled at me.  I look at him with announce from the fact that he just hit me.

"Never mind! We will deal with this when we get home." He said as he turns and walks into the school. I look at the girl and see she is gone. Huh, disappointed I look down at my shoes and see a piece of paper folded up on the floor.

I kneel down and open it up.

At 3:00

Ah so she is going to this cafe at three.

I nod and run up to the rest of my group.
"So everyone we have a mission."I say with a smile as I then get slapped in the back of the head by Kate.  I turn to her as I rub my head and see she is glaring at me.

"Who was that? And what was that about,  back there?" She said glaring at me.

"I don't know her, and that is what the mission is about. She was running and when she looked at me she seemed worried like she saw something." I say to her.  She nods in understanding  and grabbed my shirt collar. She pulled me close and kissed me. I smile and kiss her and that's when I heard Ark "eww" out loud.  I chuckle and kiss her one more time before we enter the schools. 

"Wait, why do we need to go to this 'school' thing?" Leo said. I pause and turn towards him.

"Leo,  you are completely right. We should just go on this mission." I told them. 

"Tyroon,  your an idiot. We don't know this world.  So we need to stick with your brother.  So no, we shouldn't." Kate said with an angry look but also a hint of concern lies in her eyes. 

"Yes,  I know we don't know this world but this is the only way we can understand stand it." I say to her with puppy eyes.

She glares at me then she sighs in defeat. 

"Fine, let's go." She said and I get all excited. 

"Thanks." I say and hug her.

"Wait,  how are we going to get there." I said.

"Wow,  this was all your idea,  tyroon." Kate said. 

"Yeah,  but I just now noticed that we have no way of getting there." I told her. 

"Rune are you sure this will work?  Okay,  I'm trusting you..." Leo said as we all turn towards him. 

"What are you talking about?" I asked him and he looks up at me as he walks past me and everyone else.

"I'm talking to Rune and he just taught me how to drive this black van." He said while spinning keys in his hand. 

We all head to the van as he puts it,  and we get settled  in the van.  Rune had jumped in the back and we all sat down. 

Leo was looking in a drawer and he found a pair of shades and he flips them open while putting them on.  He looks up into the mirror that was hanging  from the ceiling to look at everyone.

"Okay,  buckle up."
