On the Run

Tyroon POV

After learning the news that we are all on the run from just helping someone.  What exactly is so important about Sabby that the vampire lord will kill all of us because we are protecting her.

I shake my head and look at Sabby. She has her head down and is starring at the floor with Zoo having his arm around her.

I glance at them both then I look around at the other faces in the room. Dread, gloomy, depressed. All these terms described the room I sat in.

But then something caught my eye and there stood... Beauty. I growl as she smiled a flirty smile at me.  I brushed it off and stood up from the stool I sat on. I head over to Sabby to question and comfort her. 

"Sabby? Would you by any chance know who..." I said to her in a whisper tone until she stood all of a sudden. She stood tall as she jabbed my chest while ranting off.

"Haha! You think I know anything about this!? Why or how would I? Do you think I know? And why the hell would I put you guys in trouble? I don't know this vampire lord thing! If I did I won't be here! " She yells in my face. I see her hug herself and starts mumbling. "I need to take a walk." Zoo moved toward her. "Stay!" She snapped at him. He flinched from her vicious out burst.

She hurried outside while still watching the floor. She shoulder checked into Eeli, but I don't think it was on purpose. I saw that she kept on walk.

I turn back to face Zoo and see him glaring at me with a stone cold expression. Weird that same face reminded me of my father. Creepy.

"What?" I asked him while shrugging my shoulders.

"Your the one who made her mad." He said in a deadly quiet tone. He stood up from the couch and walked away. 

"Why is it always when I trying to be nice I screw everything up?" I asked out loud but in a whisper.

"Well, hello my worth bounty hunter. You never creased to amaze me. Now our paths have crossed again. This time better for the worse." She spoke to me. 

I roll my and open my mouth to say something but was shoved out of the way by pure beauty. 

"Step away from him!" Growled out Kate. I love when she is like this but my adoring smile goes away as soon and she turns and glares at me. I lift my hands in surrender  and turn away from her so I don't make eye contact.

"Oh, so this is the girl that you fell for a while back.  Is she the reason my spell didn't work?" Beauty asked me. I avert my eyes and heard a feral growl.

"You tried to spell my mate?" She growls out.  I heard a confident chuckle come from Beauty and I shook my head.  She shouldn't have done that. I peek over to them and saw Kate wrench back her arm and started to let her fist fly towards Beauty's face until her arm was stopped in mid air. 

"Don't." Eeli spoke softly. Hurt and worry was written in his eyes and she moved away from the elf as she came over to me.  She grabbed my jacket collar and yanked me along the way. I trip after her and almost fell on my face. 

"Kate? Are you, okay?" I asked and she turns towards me and glares at me. 

"I shouldn't have asked." I said with defeat lacing my voice.

I then noticed Kate took me to a hall way out of sight of everyone and pushed me against the wall.  She leans in and kisses me and I kiss her back but before it gets out of hand I lean away.  She doesn't take that to kindly and tries to kiss me again but I press my finger to her lips.

"Wait, I have something important to tell you." I said to her.

"It can wait." She said and leans in to kiss me again. I stop her.

"No, I think I need to ask you." I told her. She sighs and leans back just enough to look at me. 

"What is it?" She asked.

"Don't sound so enthusiastic." I said with a small smirk. 

"Tyroon." She said in a warning tone as she rolled her eyes. 

"Okay,  well me and you have been together for a while and since we are mate I was wondering about if we..." I said then she cuts in.

"Had a kid." She said bluntly after interrupted me.

"Well,  yay. I guess.  Yes,  have a child." I said to her and she wrap her arms around my neck and looks up at me. 

"Well, in a life or death situation you really know how to charm a girl." She said and we both laugh. 

"Its nice to hear you laugh again." I told her.  And she smiles.

"I would love to have..." She said as she was about to finish  her sentence we were interrupted. Once again. 

Leo came walking around the corner with a chocolate bar in his mouth as he was checking something on his phone.  And I looked up and growned.

"Come on, man!" I growl at him. He looks up at us and flicks his eyes between us then at her arms around my neck and mine wrapped around her waist. 

"Oh, sorry did I interrupt something?" He said.

"Yes,  get lost!" I yelled and he flinched while looking kind of like he enjoyed getting in the way.

"Cock block." I snicker as I mumble under my breath.

"Ty!" Kate said while hitting my chest with a small smile crawling on her face. 

"So your answer?" I asked.

"Yes, I want to have an heir with you.  And who knows if we are going to war with an immortal man than we might as well do it and have a little fun before we fight,  right." She said with a smile.  I smile at her and kiss her slow. 

We kiss a few times then came a loud slam and I break the kiss with Kate as I turn towards the source. There stood Zoo with panic on his face.

I look at Kate and she does the same as we head over to Zoo.

"What happen?" I asked him and he looked at me with anger and grabbed my jacket collar as he pinned me to the wall and hissed out.

"Sabby is gone! And its on you!"
