Joining the Team

I look into his eyes and I look around at everyone else.  I can feel his hands shake at the fact that he is worried about her. 

I would be to.

If that was Kate out there, nothing and no one would stop me from going after her.

"Zoo, Calm down." I said and he grit his teeth and pressed me further into the wall.

"Shut up! You did this!" He growled out.

"Aruzial, brother stop please." I heard Rune speak to Zoo and he closed his eyes then dropped me.  I was up like two feet in the air and I looked at him as I started to brush myself off. 

I looked around and everyone was watching me. 

"Okay,  so you said Sabby is gone,  yes?" I ask zoo and he nod.  He seems more under control now. 

"Okay,  let's find her." I said and we head out to the van.

Leo gets in the drivers seat, I get in the passage seat and zoo gets in the back.  He sits in the center console. He watches out the front window with worry in his crystal blue eyes. 

"Hey,  we will find her, okay." I told him as we pull out and head down the street. He glares at me and I just roll my eyes and shake my head. I heard the pit-er pat-er of the rain hitting the windshield. 

"She must have taken shelter." I said.  And leo nods while driving a bit slower.  We keep going down the road and the van gets even slower like he is doing it on purpose.

"Leo,  speed up." I told him.

"I'm trying." He said.  Then the car came to a complete  stop.  I don't  know what happened.

I heard Zoo make a frustrated sigh as he leans over leo and looks at the meters.

"Your out gas." He said and looked at leo.

"Did you ever put gas in this vehicle?" He asked and leo shrugged and shook his head no.

"Figures." Zoo said as he slid the door open. 

"There is an auto shop right there.  They must have gas." Zoo said as he walked over to the shop.  I got out also and turned to leo and told him to stay.

"Woof." He barked at me and I glared at him.

"You told me to stay." He said while shrugging his shoulders.

I roll my eye and head toward the shop.  I see zoo standing outside in the rain still and I jog up to him. 

"Why are you not going inside?" I asked.

"No one looks like there in." He said back.  The sign on the outside said open so I decide to push the door open. 

Zoo grabbed my arm to pull me back outside but I stopped him and pointed at the sign. 

He nodded and we head indoors. 

We walk deeper into the shop and zoo told me to stay put as he went and searched for the gas.  Heh right like I'm going to follow his orders.  I start to look around the place until my heightened sense of hearing caught something.

I follow the sound of chatting and hid behind the door. I looked inside and saw Sabby with Oliver? Wait he's here too?

I move away from the door and head to Zoo. 

"Zoo, I found Sabby." I said and he immediately dropped the gas tank in his hand and told me to show him where.  I lead him to the door and told him to be quiet but did he listen.  Nope.

He bursts right through the door and starts yelling.

Great.

"What are you doing with her! Did you touch her! I swear to god if you touched her I will murder you!"  Zoo started ranting. He grabbed a frightened Oliver and pinned him to the wall. 

Okay,  protective instincts activated.

I rush towards them and rip zoo away from Oliver.  I pin zoo to the opposite wall and surprise is written in his face. He strains against me and I press harder into his wrists. 

"Are you calm?" I asked zoo.

He glares at me with gritted teeth but breaths in and out and calms down.  Once I feel him relax I released his wrists. I step away and then zoo starts yelling. Again.

"What were you thinking? Leaving us like that? You could've gotten hurt!" He yelled at Sabby. I see she is biting her lip and stood up.

"What was I thinking? What were you thinking? Without me, you guys would be safe. You wouldn't have worry about 'protecting me'.  Tyroon, your friends and girlfriend would be safe without me. I don't understand why you would get yourself killed for someone like me!" She yelled, tears appearing in the corner of her eyes.

"I heard what she said and she is wrong.  The Vampire lord will kill us no matter what.  If she runs where dead.  If she stays we can fight." I heard rune speak.  My eyes widen at the new information gathered.

"No, no.  Sabby you are wrong. The vampire king will be after us even if you aren't with us. So please don't run." I say to her.

Sabby glares at me then a high pitch yell leaves her mouth and I see Zoo rush over and scoops her up.  He throws her over his shoulder and halls her ass to the van. As the head to the van I heard giggling come from her.

I roll my eyes and turn to Oliver.

"Wow,  long time no see.  How is Catlin?" I ask him. 

"Um... Tyroon?  You know you are talk to a nerd right. Oh, wait this is the time you beat me up then video tape a humiliated video of me. Right.  Okay, get on with it." He said to me. 

"What?  No,  why would I?" I asked then I thought of something.  This is a different dimension so I'm the opposite of myself. My eyes widen at the thought of me being a bully and I immediately yell for Sabby.

And in stomped Sabby.  I still hand a panicked look upon my face as she marched her way over to Oliver and touched his arm then she stomped her way out like a child.  He looked at his arm then at me and backed away into the wall.

I look at the mechanical arm on his right and he looks also and then back at me. 

"Do you remember?" I ask.

He smiled and looks at me with familiarity.

"Tyroon? My friend."
