Eeli Blackwell POV

I step into the dark hallway of the castle as I feel the small breeze blow my trench coat a little. I step into the throne room to see the man of Death himself.

"My Lord. What gives this humble soul the honor to be it your presence, Sir?" I asked him.

He had his back facing me while wearing a dark red lined robe that is almost completely black. His long black hair came down his back and he then turns his head towards me and studies my bowing body.

"Eeli you are my personal Assassin and friend not a servant. You do not have to bow every time you are in my presence." The lord said as he turns completely towards me. I stand up straight and he walks towards me slowly.

"So, my lord, what do you desire from me?" I asked him.

"I need you to kill a total of, well let's see." My lord spoke as he stated to come towards me looking up in thought as he counted on his fingers.

"A total of ten people." He said with a casual look in his eye like this was normal which it was, at least to us.

"Okay, sir. What are thier names?" I asked pulling out my Kill journal and pen so I could scribble the unlucky names that will soon see red oozing from thier corpses.

"Leo de Bright, Allen Night, Key Raymond, Aruzial, you don't need that much information on the Angel. Ark Striker, Slan Striker, Mar Striker, Jil Striker, Tyroon Striker..." He said and as I was writing the info in my journal I smiled as I wrote Tyroon's name down. I finally can kill the prick and have a valid reason.

"And Kate Blackwell." He finished and I paused half way writing Kate's name. I look up at my lord.

"Wait, may I have a valid reason for killing these  targets." I asked as I question him. Knowing that my daughter is a target I want to know why he wants her dead.

"Well, I don't need to explain my reasons to you, Eeli." He said. His pale skin glows in the dark.

"This is just me trying to gather info, sir." I told him and he raised an eyebrow.

"Very well then. These particular people are guarding a precious treasure from me. And I want them all killed for helping to keep her from me. So go and do your job." He commands and I bow.

"As you wish, Vampire Lord." I spoke and turned towards the doors of the throne room.

As I turn towards the large dark oak gates and two guards opened them for me.

I head down the black, glossy stairs as thoughts ran through my mind.

"Kate? Why did you have to be so damn unlucky?" I asked myself.  I continue to head down stairs while thinking my plan through. Out of most cold blooded killers,  I,  myself can't kill my beautiful daughter because I'm still trying to change her to the assassins brother hood. But her friends are just friends.

They can always be replaced.

Once I get to the bottom of the stairs I see my team standing and awaiting orders.

"Eeli? I heard Kate was a target? Aren't you the least bit worr..." I turn to my second in leadership and he shuts his mouth quickly.

"Yes, sir. Of course you have everything under control." He spoke in a deep, and soldier like tone as he turns and walks away from me.

My second in leadership has been my best friend from when we where young.  He is like my brother.  Blood couldn't have made us any closer.

His parents where his first targets in order for him to join the brother hood because he was a big cry baby and was weak in the beginning. In this brotherhood who ever you are close to is bound to be your first target. My first target happened when I was ten and I was very close to my older brother.

But once I joined this brotherhood I had to kill off that relationship and the only way to do that was to kill the only one that ever truly believe in me.

"Carlo, round up the spy's and have them meet with me." I command my best friend.  He nods and  whistles for them.

After I am visited by them I told them the people they ate supposed to watch and gather Intel on and I told them to disperse.

I whistle  and gather the others attention and they start to follow me. We head to the brotherhood headquarters  and start to plan our moves.

After about of week of gaining Intel I decide to report.  I head up the stairs with Carlo behind me and we enter through the large dark, oak doors.  Once I step in I see no one in the throne room so I head down the hall to the planning room where all military tactics are plans and heard whispers.

"So once we have the hybrid girl in custody,  when will the army be formed sire?" Asked hamlet, the vampire lords henchman spoke.

"Soon. Once I have the girl I will be the most powerful ruler on this miserable planet and all will bow before me." The Vampire said with a smirk in his voice.

"Yes, my lord.  And um... What about the Assassin?  What will happen to him?" Hamlet asked.

"Eeli, has been great help to my kingdom in the past,  but everything has its death day. But my poor old friends death day will arrive a little too soon, even after his worthless daughter and her mate is taken care of. And that wonderful surprise from Rune the once thought to be dead angel.  Come back from the grave. Quite amazing don't you agree, Carlo?" Spoke the Vampire lord.

"Couldn't agree more, my lord." Carlo said as he shoved me to the ground and I slid towards the Vampire.

"You traitor!" I hissed at my once brother. He smiled at me and walked to the vampire lord.

He stood by his side and held his hands behind his back.

"No, he was never a traitor when you where the traitor all along.  Mr. Eeli Blackwell." Spoke the vampire in a deep dark voice as he kneeled in front of me.

The only thought in my head was...

Kate needed to be warned.
