Chapter Thirteen
Her eyes wide awake as she stare at the ceiling. A fresh batch of tears escape her eyes.
Ilang araw na ba siyang umiiyak? One? Two? Three? She lost count already.
The last time she cried this hard is when she lost her parents on that tragic accident.
Hanggang kelan ba to matatapos? Hanggang kelan ba mawawala ang sakit?
"You don't even held a spot in my life. You're just nothing."
Chord's words kept on playing in her mind. "I'm nothing. I'm just nothing." Bulong niya sa hangin.
"I've always been nothing to everyone." She said bitterly.
She grip the sheets tighter, at mas lalo siyang nilalamig habang tumatagal. She check her forehead. May lagnat nga talaga siya. She's body is too hot.
She's too broken and tired to move around.
She closed her eyes urging herself to sleep.
Walang nangyayari. She look at her bedside table.
3:30 pm
She can't make up her mind on what to do.
Maybe she should see a psychologist. Hindi pwede si Sierra. It should be someone she doesn't know.
Maybe she can call one of her friends to come and take care of her.
"H-hello?" She said in a hoarse voice.
"Key, are you alright?"
She cleared her throat. "Yeah. Where are you?"
Do you need anything?"
Pinilit niyang pasiglahin ang kanyang boses. "Ah, wala naman. Kakamustahin ko lang sana kayo."
"We're okay. Don't worry. And we don't miss you." Biro nito na sinundan pa ng tawa. "Anyway, I gotta go. Tinatawag na ako ni Winter. Kasama kasi namin si Lolo for a business meeting."
"Sure. Take care. Bye." Tinitigan niya ang screen. Now. Who to call next?
"Hello Erin?" She asked, her voice a little bit weak.
"Key? Bakit parang nanghihina ang boses mo?"
She was about to speak when she heard a voice on the other line.
