Mula sa pagrereview ng case ng isa sa mga pasyente niya ay mabilis siyang tumayo at tumakbo sa ER ng hospital.

Nang makapasok sa ER ay agad siyang nagsuot ng face mask. "What happened?" He asked the attending doctor.

"The patient was brought by the rescue team, she jump off a cliff. She's lucky may nakakita agad sa kanya at agad tumawag ng rescue. She got her head hit pretty bad though. If she was brought late, she might be dead on arrival by now." Tumingin ang kapwa niya doctor sa pasyente. "The bleeding won't stop. And there's a lack of oxygen in her brain already, this may lead to traumatic brain injury."

"Transfer the patient to the OR now." He commanded.

Agad kumilos ang mga nurses at inilipat sa OR ang katawan ng pasyente. Nakasunod naman sa kanya ang kapwa niya doctor.

Agad siyang nagsuot ng plastic gloves at lumapit sa pasyente. Nangunot ang kanyang noo. The girl lying on the hospital bed is the same girl who keeps on tailing her. Well he haven't saw this girl for weeks now.

He shrugged that thought away and started doing his job.

"There's a massive damage on her brain tissue. In this state the patient have a traumatic brain injury." After hours of operation he said to his co-doctor.

Tumango ito. "Right now, she's really unstable. Base on the blood she lost, and the damage on her brain she might not make it. Her case is pretty bad. Milagro na lang siguro ang makakapagligtas sa pasyente."

"Monitor her within 48 hours, if her body didn't respond. We have to let the family decide with the life support." Bilin niya sa mga nurse at doctor na kasama niya sa silid.

He look at the almost lifeless body lying on the hospital bed. What did this girl do?

Napailing siya bago bumaling sa mga kasama niya sa loob ng operating room.

"Diba yan yung laging naka-cosplay na dumadalaw sa mga bata sa pedia ward?"

He heard one of the nurses talk as he remove his gloves.

"Oo, sabi nila Ivy at Nika mabait daw yan eh. Kahit na laging agaw eksena ang mga outfits kapag nandito."

"Ah doc." Tawag ng kapwa doctor sa atensyon niya.

Hinarap niya ito.

"Regarding on the patient's critical condition, i'd rather have you deliver the bad news to the family." Tumingin ito sa pasyente. "We did our best, but her case is really critical."

Tipid siyang tumango. He's used to situation like this. Mas mabuti pa ngang siya na lang ang magdiscuss sa pamilya ng dalaga.

"And doc," may inabot itong papel na nakatupi. "Nasa damit to ng pasyente. Might be a suicide note or something."

Tinanggap niya iyon bago tuluyang lumabas ng operating room.

He cleared his throat and with his monotone voice he ask, "can I speak to the patient's family?"

Tinignan niya ang mga babaeng agad nagsilapitan sa kanya. This might be her friends. He recognized the triplets who's there during Macey's party.

"We are her family."

"How is she?"

He can't discuss this important matter with her friends. "I need to talk to her relatives, her parents or sibling will do. Not her friends." He explained.
