I wanted to say something but nothing came out of my mouth. Nothing. I wanted to hug him to tell him it was okay but he seemed so broke. So sad. It just froze me.

I asked " have you ever heard from her again ? "

" Do you think I have ? " he said harshly he was being aggressive.

I decided to speak my mind " It wasn't your fault. You did the right thing. You tried to make her come back. "

" Maybe I should have tried harder. "

" If she wanted to talk to you she would have done it. You can't blame anyone except this jerk. You beat him up. You did everything you should have done. Don't have any regrets. You were a wonderful boyfriend. "

He stood up and took his bag " Stop it. Stop this. Stop all this fucking speech. I don't need anything. I'm good. "

I walked to him he said in a low voice but with anger " I said I am good. I am over her. It was a fucking year ago. I'm just pissed off for what happened. How I let this happen. I'm good. Don't try to comfort me, don't say anything. Thanks. "

He started to walk away.

I never thought that he has been through all of that. He was heart broken that's for sure. I just thought he was some jerk who was playing at school instead of working whereas the truth was another thing.

He left me alone. I put some music on an I waited for the next class to start.

I was now home. Someone rang I opened the door and it was Sadie. I was pissed at her. She keep skipping class all the time and she leaves me alone. I opened the door she smiled and hugged me I didn't say a thing. She came in my house how she used to because well it's Sadie I know her for years.

She waved at Ella and looked at me

" is everything alright Jodie ? "

" don't call me Jodie I hate this nickname. " I said aggressively.

Sadie did her little okay and I told her to come to my room. She sat on my bed and said while playing with her hair

" What happened ? I missed you Jourdan ! "

" it's you you tell me what is happening ? "

" what do you mean ? " she said with her face like she really don't know what I am talking about.

" You skip school it's your problem I know you don't care. I know you are too clever to come to class. I got it. I'm used to it. But now you left me alone. I'm not used to it and I don't get it. "

She smirked " seriously it is was it is about ? I thought it was some real thing "

" start making friend and stop acting like a lost puppy because I'm not here. "

" I don't have any friends and I'm not sociable. You and Devesh are the only person I talk to in this high school. "

" Well you should change that. Because you know what ? I'm not gonna be here forever ! "

" Listen to me carefully you have to stop waiting for me to do your stuffs. Try to grow as yourself. You expect too much from people. You're making a scene because I don't come to school anymore that's life people don't stay forever. Get used to it. "
