" Yeah excuse me. Those dolls are really cool, I can tell she will love it !"

" I hope so ! She took my money for all the month !" I laughed. He added " How about you ? Are you getting anything for Christmas for your little sister ?"

" I'll buy here some stuffs at Claire's she loves accesorizes and stuffs like this. She wants to be a beauty queen."

"We should introduce our sisters !"

" Yeah you should bring Mahita home !"

" I should. I love Christmas."

" Why ?"

" Seeing all those kids happy, in the end it makes me happy !" He was right, I was just too selfish ... Christmas is beautiful for the kid and of course for the religion. " What do you think about Christmas ?"

Do I lie, do i tell the truth ? Even if I would look selfish ? Anyway I choosed honesty. I looked at him deeply

"It have been 5 years since we spent Christmas alone. When I mean alone, I mean without my dad. My dad is a soldier. He is always fighting and playing with his life and I hate it. He is always away, when we spend Christmas together it's on Skype ! Every year I have the wish that he may come but no, they don't give him this fucking permission ! So we stay home ... Okay well my family come with my cousin and stuffs but it's not the same."

" You want your dad."

" Yeah I want him. But I should be happy that he is even alive ! I should stop complaining. And I am thankful for that. I like Christmas it's the day of Jesus. I like seeing all the kids happy, I like what we eat a Christmas, I like the snow that's just being far away from him that I hate."

He nodded. " I truly hope that you'll get to spend Christmas with him. Maybe not this year but you know one year he'll be here."

I made a sad face without even noticing it, Devesh hugged me.

Two days after that, it was Christmas, we had a good Christmas because I spent it with my cousin and we have a good laugh after all. My mom bought me some jewels and nail polish. My dad skyped me for hours. I smiled a lot. Someone knocked on the door, my mum opened and said " Jodie, lovely, I think it's for you."
