I was in school. Sadie was missing. It was the morning break. I started to text Devesh and he decided he will come to stay with me for the break. We talked a bit and we started to talk about two things : Abel and our future.

" Jourdan do you have a crush on Abel yea or nah that's a simple question !" He said with a tiny smile on his face. Devesh is always smiling I never saw him upset or anything, no he is always smiling.

He made a quick thing with his eyes and added " are you sure ?"

I started to hum Do I Wanna Know from Arctic Monkeys and Devesh snapped at me ! " The concert is coming soon by the way ! "

" in five years I see me and a skate and some music playing behind. I don't see any future I don't see any job. If I work hard it's for my mom. It sounds childish but it is ! I know she wants me to become an ingeneer or something and I just can't be that. I'm such an ass in sciences well except maths but I don't work in maths. "

It's funny because we both have pressure from our mums they want the best for us but Devesh was coming here everyday to please his mum. He has no clue about his future I found it cool because in a way he isn't afraid of the unknown like I am. I want to feel safe all the time and to know what ok doing or where I am going. I couldn't be like him with No future. I admire him for that.

He continued " You know I left my old school because I had a fight "

Devesh !! Fighting !! Are we on Earth ? Who would fight against him ? He is too nice to have some trouble. My eyes must have went wide because Devesh snapped at me " don't look at me this way !"

I repeated " Devesh went into a fight ! "

" I was defending my girlfriend. "

I told him " I bet it was because you were jealous, or protective".

He looked at me in a really serious way. I never saw him with such a serious face.

" Some jerk kept threatening her, because one day she made a mistake. She ... You know ... " he was out of words " she drunk a bit. She was totally drunk. We were together for like two months but you know when I am with a girl I just I m serious with it. She was drunk and she did it with this jerk. From what she told me she wasn't forced.
