Abel was standing right in front of us - cuter than ever - . How did he even get in ?

Kemi did a move with her braids. She looked at her nails.

Abel repeated " What about me ?"

Kemi looked at me, I did not know what to say. Kemi said looking at her nails " I spotted you at school."

He seems surprised " Well you should have come and say hi."

Kemi kept looking at her nails and playing with her fingers " I should but anyway, I spotted you in detention what have you done again ?"

" I'm done listening to these fucking teachers. I know my future is fucked up. Why would I even bother going to their school everyday ?"

I immediately said " Don't say that ! You'll have a future."

" I don't want to apply to Uni."

" Whhhh why ??"

Someone rang at the door " I'll be right back." said Kemi. So It was now Abel and I. The fact that Kemi said that she spotted Abel and I surprised me, there's nothing to be " spotted". Maybe she " spotted " how I look at him ? It's not my fault if he is cute. Abel looked at me " I don't want to apply because I don't know what I want to become. I'm 17 but I have to pick what I'll be doing for all my life ??"

" I know this is shitty... But you just can't throw away all the opportunities." He came closer to me he looked at me straight in the eyes, my heart was burning ! He said " So what do I do then ?"

I fake a thoughtful face and added " Go to uni. Study a shit and get a diploma."

He gave me a little tap on my shoulder " Jourdan, you want me to be like all of them ?"

Too much tension, I tried to act like normal but from that close, Abel was incredibely cute, his brown eyes were so deep I couldn't stop looking at them. We were staring at each others without a word, it felt like hours, I was drowning in his eyes. I heard Devesh's voice saying " Hi guys !", this make me get out of my reverie. Abel laughed. Was he laughing because of me ? Why the fuck was he laughing ? I wanted to punch him in the face, I hate when people make fun of me !

Devesh and Abel said Hello to each other and Kemi came with some food. She said " So here are some stuffs to eat, Abel I know that those are your faves so you can take them all ! ( she handed him some snickers ), Devesh I know that you like Cadburry's chocolate so here are yours. Jourdan I don't know what you like but I think some oreos will be okay ? And here are some crisps and others shits to eat. "

Devesh thanked Kemi and asked her how was her day. I caught Abel looking at me again, I didnt smile at him because he laughed at me earlier yeah I know I am childish. Kemi took her camera and she said " Devesh you can take the camera okay, you'll put play when I'll blink."

'" Abel you will umhh, could you just told me to shut up if I sing bad ?"

He laughed " No probs girl."

" Jourdan you can chill, just tell me before I start to sing am I pretty right now ?"

" You are !" She hugged me and handed me some beer I put it down saying " No thanks." She said " Never mind !"

She asked " What am I going to sing please guys help me to choose I know that you are the best when it comes to music"

I love when people recognise it.

Devesh immediately looked at me " It look like we have a mission here ! "
