Chapter 20: One day

Mia's Point Of View

The squad and i stayed at the library studying a little bit more for the math test until we all got hungry and decided to go eat somewhere and then head home

Emma and I decided to study together at my house and so we were, mom was downstairs making dinner while dad was at work

"Can we take a break?" Emma groaned

"Bitch we just started" I said

"We've been studying since two hours and I'm dying" she threw her head back "plus why are you interested in math all of a sudden"

"I'm not, ew! I just wanna finish this shit"

"But my head is gonna explode let's take a break"

"Fine" I threw the pen on the notebook and laid on my back

"Have you heard from Ethan?" She asked resting her chin in her palm

"No," I frowned "he didn't reply or call back"

"Don't worry. He will text you back, he's probably busy or something"

"But I'm his girlfriend" I glared at her

"Don't be clingy" she huffed

I frowned "you think I'm clingy?"

"Well whenever i call you're with Ethan so something like that"

"Oh" i sat up "Do you think that's why he aint answering?"

"Maybe"

I nodded tucking my hair behind my ear

"Hey, I didn't mean to hurt you" Emma frowned placing her hand on my shoulder

I looked up forcing a smile on my face "You didn't, thanks for being honest with me"

"Quit the act" she said wrapping her arms around me and pulled me in a hug "I'm sorry"

I wrapped mine around her and nuzzled my head in her neck "it's ok"

My phone vibrated making me pull away from her and grab it in my hand

"Who is it?"

"Jay"

From Biebs: so Scoot just called and he says we're in trouble

I frowned

"What did he say?" Emma asked

"That Scooter called and we're in trouble"

"What why?"

I shrugged typing a text back to Justin

To Biebs: why?

From Biebs: cuz of what happened at the radio station

To Biebs: well I didn't do anything wrong so ur left alone 😊👍🏽
