Mia's Point Of View

It's been almost two months since the last time i spent time with Ethan, my exams were over a long time ago and ever since, whenever I tried to hang out with him, he'd come up with an excuse telling me he's busy or he's with the boys, the college is killing him and i got the hint and kept my distance.

I really thought he'd be the one for me, but now that i think about it I guess mom was right all along,

My relationship with my parents was way better than it used to be and I'm so glad for that, mom's pregnant with a baby boy and I still cant believe i'll be having a brother in a couple of months

Oh did I mention that I graduated a week ago? It was so magical, everyone was so happy, I thought I'd see Ethan in the crowd, a smile on his face but I thought wrong, that was when I couldn't take it any longer, we ended it but before i did so I talked to his sister she said he's seeing someone, she never mentioned who though, I'm not like those crazy girlfriends who'd ruin someone's life just because they ruined hers,

I talked to Chris, Ethan's friend and he told me everything about the new girl, but what he knows is that Ethan said we're over since a month and a half.

*Throwback*

"What do you mean he's seeing someone else??!" I cried

"Aye don't cry," Chris said

"How could he do this to me?"

"C'mere" Chris mumbled pulling me in for a hug "He was never like this I don't know what's up with him"

I squeezed my eyes shut and held my breath in for a few seconds to prevent myself from having a panic attack

"It'll be ok Mia, you still young ma, you could do so much better," he said said pulling away "E's my friend but he aint shit, move on, do better and just never look back"

I wiped my tears and nodded "Take care of him and just don't let him ruin his life like this ok?"

"Aight don't worry about it,"

I put my hair behind my ear "Thanks for listening and for telling me the truth" I said

"I'm always here, if you ever need anything, hit me up you have my number" he said

I nodded smiling "okay, i will, thanks again"

"No problem" he smiled

"I gotta go, I'll see you around" I mumbled giving him a hug

"See you around"

I never mentioned what happened to Justin, the only one who knew about this was Emma, at first but then I had to tell mom cuz she saw how upset i was, I knew if the boys found out they'd make a fuss and I don't need drama in my life so all I said was that I didn't think he was the one and i ended things. Funny how they believed it.

"Mia, get your ass down here" Justin yelled from downstairs

"Patience, have you ever heard of something called patience? Just give me a minute" I yelled back
