Mia's Point Of View

After spending the whole day next to the pool with Ethan and his friends and mine, i took a shower and was getting ready for bed, it wasn't night yet but i was tired af, it was around 4pm or 5 when I heard a knock on the bedroom's door

"Qui est là?" I asked chucking to myself because if this person doesn't know French they obviously won't understand what i just said

Translation: Who is there?

"It's me" I heard Justin's voice from the other side

"Come on in" I spoke throwing the duvet on my body and fixed my pillow

He walked in smiling and closed the door behind him

"What's up?" I asked not paying attention to him

"Uh... I wanted to ask you something" he started

I smiled patting the spot next to me, he walked towards me and sat next to me and played with something in his basketball shorts pocket, suddenly he took out a small black box and my eyes widened

"I've had this in a while now... i know you don't really like Sel but I really do think she's the one and I wanna be with her forever" he said opening the box and looked straight in my eyes as if he was searching for something but I broke our eye contact and glared at my hands, I don't know why i did it, but i did it either way.

I felt my heart drop at the size of the diamond "it's beautiful- so so beautiful" I mumbled grabbing it "it's way prettier than mine, damn"

He chuckled "so do you think she'll like it?"

I nodded "are you kidding? She'll love it. It's breathtaking-"

"Babe have you seen m-" Ethan stopped mid sentence looking at the both of us, Justin grabbed the ring placing it in the box and immediately closed it putting it back in his pocket

"Seen what babe?" I asked

"What's going on here?" He asked

Justin and I looked at each other and then back at him

"Nothing I just came to ask Mia something- I'm going now, goodnight" he said kissing my cheek and stood up and rushed to the door

I shook my head laughing,

"What was that about?" Ethan asked
