Chapter 26: Violet

Mia's Point Of View

I sighed washing my hands, Ethan doing the same

"I'm glad we finished cleaning. That was a disaster"

"I know. But I don't regret starting it"

I rolled my eyes "I'm not surprised you saying that"

He chuckled "so what's next?"

I walked out of the kitchen and went straight to the living room throwing myself on the couch E doing the same

"There's no way I'm finishing everything tonight. I'll go buy bread and cheese or whatever in the morning and I'll make the sandwiches"

"Or we can just buy sandwiches"

"Well yeah but that will be more expensive" I mumbled

He laughed "you're talking as if you're broke"

"I'm not broke. I'm just saving money so I can travel to new york and have my own place"

"Oh, right. When are you leaving?"

"I still haven't figured it out. Maybe after mom gives birth I don't know" I shrugged turning the tv on

Ethan nodded "Well, I'll help you with everything in the morning and maybe we can start our morning by making sandwiches together?"

"You're turning into a softy don't you think?"

He rolled his eyes "tsk please"

I looked at him smiling "you know..." I started "I really do miss this"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I miss you. I miss us" I said scooting closer to him

He smiled grabbing my chin with his thumb and index finger, our lips merely touching "well I miss y-" he was cut off mid-sentence by the knock on the door

I sighed "I'll get it," I said standing up

"No it's ok I'll get it" he said pushing me back on the couch

I shrugged my shoulders placing my feet on the table in front of me

"Surprise" I heard a familiar feminine voice say

"Oh my god what are you doing here?" Ethan half yelled

I frowned looking towards the door just to see Ethan's back while the woman is still outside, I couldn't see her clearly until he hugged her

"Violet oh my god" I jumped on my feet and ran toward the both of them

"Mia" she screamed as she let go of her brother and hugged me tightly

I giggled "it's been so long oh my god"

"Look at you, all grown up and shit" she mumbled

I flipped my hair making her laugh at my action

"Your hair looks so good" she mumbled touching my hair
