It Will Always Be You

~ Family Problems ~

"Just two weeks?" I sighed as I took Michael's hand in mine.

"Just two weeks." Michael said gently rubbing his thumb over my hand.

"Ok." After we stood there for a little while longer we finally decided to head upstairs.

"So where are you going?" I said finally breaking the silence that had fallen between Michael and I.

"Japan." Michael replied. "And then to Barcelona."

"And then home?" I asked crawling into his lap on the couch.

"And then home." Michael replied wrapping his arms around me.

"It will be the longest two weeks of my life." I replied holding him close to me.

"I know baby and I'm so so sorry." Michael said holding me tightly his voice was low and cracked lightly as he spoke. Knowing him as long as I have I knew that meant he was upset.

"Hey it's ok Mikey. It's ok baby. I know what I signed up for, and is being able to do the whole distance thing proves just how strong we are." I turned on his lap so I could face him. I gently rubbed his cheek trying to get him to calm down and realize it was ok. Michael shook his head and laughed before a tear fell down his face.

"How do you do it?" Michael said laughing again lightly.

" Do what?" I asked kissing his cheek that the tear went down.

"Always find away to make me leaving ok. To find way to make everything ok?" Michael replied kissing my hand.

"It's my job." I replied smiling at him.

"I love you so much." Michael said before he kissed me.

" I love you to Mikey so so much." I wrapped my arms around him and held him close to me.

We stayed there for a long time in just a comfortable silence before both of our phones went off.

"Hey.." Michael started to speak at the same time I am.

"Let me guess.. Ashton needs you?" I asked with a little sigh.

"How'd you know?" Michael asked completely confused.

"Jena needs me." I replied sighing.

Jena and Ashton do love each other. The only problem is she accidentally got pregnant about four years ago, and it was right at the time the boys where going on their huge world tour. She was mad at Ashton for leaving although he was around for the baby to be born. She still was mad at him and every time he left she got mad again. They loved each other it was just a lot of responsibility having a child and neither of them where ready.

A lot of the time I think they are only together still because of Cassie and because of the baby that's on the way. The amount of times Ashton's called Michael up at 3 am because he was drunk and needed a place to sober up had become to many to count and the amount of times Jena has called me to come stay with her because she was scared was also to many to count.

"So are they coming here?" Michael asked kissing my forehead gently.

"Jena and Cassie are yes. I think for tonight you should take Ashton to his house." I replied.

"Yeah me too." Michael replied. "You know out of all of this. The only thing that bothers me is Cassie." He sighed and shook his head.

"Yeah, I'm gonna do something about that." I replied moving off his lap.

"What are you gonna do?" Michael asked.

"Just leave that to me ok?" I smiled and kissed him gently before he left and I headed to my room to change into some clothes that would help make tonight a little easier.
