*Michaels POV*

My heart was beating fast and hard as I drove down the road. Not caring at all that I was breaking the speed limit. I had to get there and I had to get there now. The words were repeating over and over again. Trying to find something in it a lie or something telling me it was ok.

"Your fiancé had been in an accident we need you to come down to the hospital." The only words she had said. She never said if she was ok. If it was serious. How the baby was nothing. Those were her only words.

I knew. I knew I shouldn't have let her go alone this morning. I had my emergency blinkers on and I made sure nothing was coming and I just went through every red light. I had to get there.

My chest ached having no idea if she was ok. How serious it was. I drove and drove and drove until I got to the hospital. I put the car in park and turned it off and ran inside.

"I'm looking for Calliope. Calliope Anne Johnson. She's 25, pregnant, brown hair and dark brown eyes." My chest was beating harder and faster. My thoughts where all clouded. I couldn't think straight.

"Sir you'll have to take a seat I'll be with you in just a minute." The woman at the desk said.

"NO GOD DAMNIT. SHE IS MY FIANCÉ AND SHE'S PREGNANT AND SOMEONE FROM THIS DAMN HOSPITAL CALLED ME AND DIDN'T TELL ME HOW BAD IT IS AND I NEED TO KNOW." I was so full of emotion that I couldn't hold it back anymore.

With out anymore hesitation the woman started looking on her computer to see if she could find me something anything.

"A doctor has been notified that you're here. They will be out in just a few minutes to see you." The woman spoke. Her voiced calmer and softer this time. The changer in the time of her voice basically told me that it wasn't good.

I walked over and sat in a seat and rested my head in my hands. God why did I let her go? I knew I shouldn't have let her go. At least not on her own, but she said I had been being to over protective by going everywhere with her or having one of her friends go. So I decided to let her go to this. She was supposed to go and get to her mothers and they where supposed to sit out on the back porch and catch up while drinking lemonade like they always do. They where supposed to stay there until her younger sister got there and then they would all hug each other and talk about how nervous she was because she was getting married in two days. Not this. This wasn't supposed to happen.

As tears began to rush down my cheeks I felt a hand on my shoulder. When I looked up I saw Ashton, Calum and Luke. They all looked pale and worried. Ashton tried his best to be comforting while trying not to cry himself.

"Michael Clifford?" A man in a white coat spoke.

Quickly I wiped my eyes and stood up walking over to him.

"Yes sir that's me. Is calliope ok ? Is the baby ok? Can I see her?" My voice was shakey and I was full of so many questions that no one would seem to answer.

"I'm going to tell you straight up because you have to make a decision and quickly. Things are bad. Your fiancé needs surgery, but the surgery will most likely hurt the baby. So your options are. To have a c-section done and we try our best to keep the baby alive and then do the surgery to save your fiancé or we do the surgery and hope the baby survive, but if we don't do anything it's guaranteed you'll lose them both."
