After getting Cassie cleaned up I took her back into her dad and went back into the kitchen finishing the pancakes. I didn't want her to get hurt so I thought it would be best for me to take her back out to him.

"Did you have fun?" Michael asked wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"Jesus Christ, you scared me." I jumped lightly and laughed. "Yes I had a lot of fun." I replied as I turned to face him.

"That's great baby girl and it looks like you had fun." He replied laughing a little.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked severely confused.

"This." Michael replied taking a rag and wiping pancake batter off my cheek.

"Oh yeah." I laughed. "Thank you."

"Of course baby, and I'm glad you had fun." He kissed my forehead and I leaned into him.

"So why did you and Ashton talk about?" I asked as he held me close to his chest.

"Oh different things. The shows coming up, Cassie, the baby, us, this apartment. Things that your gonna have to join us and talk about very soon." Michael replied.

"Oh. Sounds very official." I replied letting go of him and flipping the pancakes.

"That's because it is." Michael sighed. "A lot of decisions and changes have to be made."

"I don't like change." I muttered quietly.

"I know baby, but there isn't really a choice, besides it's a good change. Hopefully." Michael replied kissing the top of my head.

"You aren't going to tell me are you?" I asked leaning into him where my back was against his chest.

"Not until dinner tonight." He replied.

"You're evil you know that." I replied laughing lightly trying to change the mood.

"Oh and why is that?" He replied chuckling.

"You know I hate anticipation." I replied as I flipped some pancakes.

*Later That Night*

"Some one remind me again why the hell I'm l acing my daughter in the care of Luke and Calum." Ashton said shaking his head as we walked downstairs from dropping Cassie off.

"Because it's the only option we have and we really need to talk." Michael said as we both followed behind him.

"It will be fine Ashton besides it's only two hours and she's asleep what could" I was cut off.

"Please don't finish that sentence." Ashton said shaking his head again. "Ok ok. You're right I don't need to worry."

"That's the spirit." I replied as we all got into the car.

"I said I don't need to worry doesn't mean I won't worry." Ashton replied as he got in the back seat.

Michael drive as we made our way into town to one of our favorite restaurants. It was actually the place Michael and I met. Actually the place I met all the boys.

"Hey Callie?" Ashton said breaking the comfortable silence.

"Yeah Ash?"

"I've never thanked you. So thank you." Ashton said.

"For what?" I was very confused.

"for all that you've done. From the day that we first met. You helped someone you didn't even know and ever since you've treated me like a brother and even now you're helping me with Cass even though you don't have to. So thank you." Ashton replied laying his head against the window.

"You don't have to thank me Ashton. You're like an older brother to me. The brother I never got to have. So it should be me thanking you." I replied smiling.

"I'm glad you spilled Spaghetti on Michael's lap." Ashton replied laughing lightly.

"Me too." Michael spoke up looking over at me with a huge grin.

"I will never live that down." I replied laughing shaking my head.

"nope. Because it was the best thing that ever happened." Michael replied still smiling.
