"Ok we're gonna do a few tests now ok?" The doctor said taking out her flashlight and having Callie follow it with her eyes.  " I know you can squeeze you hands as I've seen you do it to Mr. Clifford several times." She replied laughing lightly.

Callie just laughed lightly as she smiled up at me. The entire time I couldn't stop smiling and watching her. I finally got to see her beautiful eyes open and active again.

"Can you feel this?" The nurse asked as she ran a pen up the bottom of Callie's foot.

Callie's breath hitched and a tear fell as she shook her head no as her hand squeezed mine tighter.

"It's ok baby." I whispered as I rubbed her cheek.

More tears fell down her cheek. As the doctor tried a few more tests on her legs that she couldn't feel.

"Maybe you could take a break for now?" I asked while trying to calm Callie.

"Yes of course." The doctor replied while finishing filling in something on her laptop and then walked out.

"Mikey." Callie let out before starting to  cry harder.

I laid on the bed beside her as she cried. She laid her head on my chest and began to cry harder.

"It's on baby. We don't know anything. It may just be a little side effect that will wear off. It may be something that they can fix. Ok?  Don't give up baby and even if it is permanent we'll figure this out." I replied kissing her gently.

Her tears slowly turned into sniffles as she held onto me tightly. I just laid there beside her drawing little shapes on her back trying to get her to calm down.

"He's gone isn't he?" Callie sniffled again.

"Yeah baby he is." I replied sighing lightly.

"So by the tests that we ran we noticed that you have a pinched nerve and it's causing you to experience not being able to feel your right leg. With a little bit of physical therapy that feeling should start to come back." The doctor replied smiling.

"See what did I tell you no need to panic." I replied kissing Callie's cheek.

"Since you are moving to a room upstairs I'm going to be handing you off to a doctor up there. It's been a pleasure meeting you both and I better not see you down here again." She laughed lightly as she shook both our hands and walked out of the room.

"Upstairs you'll be able to see out and your mom, Ashton, Cassie and a few others can come and visit you." I retold Callie as I got off her bed grabbing my jacket.

"You where here every day weren't you?" Callie said as I was cleaning up.

"Of course I was. I promised to stick by your side through everything and I meant it." I replied giving her a smile.

" I love you so much Mikey." Callie replied taking my hand In hers.

" I love you to baby." I smiled.

"We're gonna take Ms. Callie upstairs now. If that sounds alright with you." A couple nurses came in all smiley and happy.

"Yes please. I'd like a little more light and not so much dull." Callie replied laughing a little. It was so good to hear her laugh again.

"Ok let's go then. Sir if you'd like you can follow us. So you know where she is." The nurse said as they undid the break on her bed and started wheeling her out of the room she had been in.

"Thank you." I replied smiling.
