It Will Always Be You

~ Important Question ~

"So what exactly are we here to discuss?" I asked taking a sip of my drink.

"So we've been thinking." Michael said pausing.

"That's dangerous." I replied laughing.

Both boys justx rolled their eyes and sighed. They were annoyed yet humored.

"Anyway as I was saying we were thinking. Don't say it or I will smack you." Michael said chucking. I just put my hands up in defeat. "With everything that's happened that maybe Ashton and the kids could move in with us, but then that leaves the fact out apartment is small and I know you love that one house on 3rd street and I was thinking maybe we could all look into moving into it." Michael said taking another drink once finished.

"You don't have to agree to this either Calliope. I will be completely fine if you say no. You've done enough for me trough out the years and this is a bug change and I'd understand if you don't want to do it." Ashton said a little worried mixed with reassuring.

" I think it's a very good idea, the only thing is how are we going to afford that house?" I replied laughing a little nervously.

"we've got that figured out." Ashton said smiling. "You're sure about this?" Ashton asked double checking.

"Of course Ash. I love little bug. Plus she's gonna need some where to be when you guys go off to play a show and just having one place is better than going back and forth to another house. Plus like Michael said I'm in love with this house I have been ever since I was 8." I replied laughing a little.

"Ok so I have one more thing I wanna ask you guys." Ashton said getting serious.

"Ok ash. Go right ahead." I replied.

"So with all of this going down you guys would basically be parents to." Ashton said seeming to have a hard time finding the right words to say. "Well I was thinking. Maybe we could get it.. like sign legal papers and stuff were you guys can make decisions to. Like say we are away on tour and Callie you're here with Cass and some kind of decision needs made. Like her needing a shot or signing a paper for school trip. Make it where you could do that and it would be completely legal." Ashton said playing with his napkin.

"You want to make us partial legal guardians?" I asked just a little shocked.

"Yeah. I mean if you want to of course. I mean if you don't want to. You don't have to." Ashton said rambling cause he was nervous.

"We'd love to Ash." I replied resting my hand on his. Michael and I loved Cass just like she was our own and she was our god child so I knew Michael would be completely ok with it.

"Your sure?" Ashton said looking between the two of us.

"yes Ashton we are sure." Michael replied.

"Oh thank god." Ashton said letting out a big sigh.

"You seem really happy about this." I replied laughing.

"ok I'm not gonna lie. I am terrified of doing this on my own and making important decisions, but now you guys can help and it will be completely legal." Ashton replied feeling like the world just lifted off his shoulders.

Michael and I both just laughed before we all went back to finishing dinner. We were going to be parents. Sure maybe we were 3, and she wasn't actually mine and Michael's, but this would be perfect. We would be a big perfect happy family. I could see it. This will be good. Who knew a little piece of paper with my name signed on it could make me so excited and happy.
