"Sir if you'd come with me I can take you to see your fiancé." A nurse said as she walked back into the room where I was with the baby.

"I'll be back little one in gonna go see your mommy ok." I took my hand out of the incubator and followed the woman out the door and removed everything they had made me wear in order to go on there.

"Did the surgery go well?" I asked I followed her down more hallways. They seemed to go deeper and deeper into the hospital making it harder to find a way out.

"Yes the surgery went well but it's still touch and go." She sighed lightly and led me into the ICU. Seeing those words and knowing I was going to her made my stomach drop.

We walked down a few more halls and to a room that had no windows and was covered in machines monitoring everything from brain activity to how her heart was beating.

I felt a lump in my throats as I looked at Callie. She used to be so bright and excited, her skin radiant and glowing. Her hair would fall perfectly against her neck, but now. She was pale and dull, her hair was flat against the pillow. Her arms rested on her lap with an IV in one arm and many bracelets on the other side saying different medical terms on them along with an identification bracelet. She had a bandage around her head and blankets covering her.

I kissed her forehead and pulled the chair over to right beside her taking her hand.

"I'll be here the entire way angel. I promise I'm not going anywhere." I spoke softly and rubbed my thumb across the top of her hand. I was going to stay here until he woke up and no one could change that.

~ Flashback ~

"Michael where are we going ?" Callie squealed as I pulled her further down the trail.

"You'll see just come on." I replied laughing.

"I can't go all that fast Mr. Clifford. Might I remind you I am 3 months pregnant." She replied laughing.

"I know that." I replied laughing.

After a few more minutes of walking we came to a clearing. Where I had lights set up asking Callie to marry me.

I heard her gasp and I looked over at her getting down on one knee opening the little box that had been in my jacket pocket all this time

I heard her gasp and I looked over at her getting down on one knee opening the little box that had been in my jacket pocket all this time.

"Calliope Anne Johnson, I've known you for the past 4 almost 5 years and I knew from the moment I saw you that you where the perfect angel. I thought there was no chance you'd ever go for a guy like me, but you did. And I've known for the longest time that I wanted to spend the rest of my life waking up to you. So if you'd allow me to do the honor of marrying you. I would happily stay by your side through everything. So will you marry me?" I looked up at her beautiful brown eyes. They where filled with happiness and tears that wanted to fall.

"Yes Michael Gordon Clifford. I will marry you. It would be my pleasure." She replied. I slid the ring on her finger and stood up kissing her and spinning her around in a circle.

~End Of Flashback~

"I'm gonna stick by your side angel just like I promised." I kissed her hand as tears began to run down my cheek. "Angel please wake up. I need you. Our baby needs you." I sniffled out.
