"what no you're wrong." Ashton pushed his way passed me. "Jena!, Jena!" Ashton yelled going through out the entire apartment checking every room.

"Daddy?" A sleepy little girl came walking out of my room holding her teddy bear rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah princess?" Ashton said trying to hide the tears that threatened to leave his eyes.

"Is everything ok?" Gently Ashton walked over and picked her up holding her close where her head was laying on his shoulder.

"Of course it is princess. I was just looking for Mommy that's all." He gently kissed her head and rubbed her back as she started to yawn.

"Aunt Callie said mommy is going on a trip for a little bit and that I can stay with her." She yawned and started to close her eyes.

"Yeah baby she is and you'll stay with aunt Callie for a little while and then your gonna stay with me ok? But for now you're gonna go to sleep." Ashton took Cass into our guest room and laid her down on the bed singing her softly to sleep.

"How could she do this." I mumbled into Michael's chest a tear rolling down my cheek. How could someone leave their daughter so easily?

My chest hurt. I didn't know which was worse her actually leaving or the fact we where telling a little girl her mother was just on a trip and was going to be back soon. When in fact we had no idea if she was coming back at all.

"I don't know baby." Michael held me close to him. I could tell he was just as upset about this as I was.

After a few more minutes Ashton came out, tears rolling down his cheek. He sat on the couch with his head in his hands.

"Ash I'm so so sorry." I sat down beside him and pulled him close to me. "We are here for you no matter what. Anything you need we will try our best to help." His tears began to fall harder and faster.

"Here ash drink this." Michael brought in a cup of hot chocolate with whip cream and cinnamon on top. It was a drink all of us tend to make when we are upset.

"thanks Mikey." Ashton sighed and took the cup setting back in his chair taking a sip of the cup. "what am I gonna do?"

"You're gonna stay with us and we will figure this out together. You aren't alone in his Ashton." I replied.

"We can fix up the extra room as a bed room for you or for Cass." Michael said sitting on the coffee table.

"You guys don't have to do this it's not your problem. It's not your burden." Ashton said shaking his head.

"it's not a burden Ashton you're family, besides in a few weeks your leaving for two weeks and Cassie will need some place to stay. So staying here full time would be easier on her than bouncing back and forth constantly." I gave him a reassuring smile trying to make him realize that we where way more than ok with this.

"Besides you'll be helping us." Michael said laughing lightly.

"What do you mean by that?" Ashton asked looking up at him.

"We've been talking about kids for a while now and this will help us prepare." Michael smiled as he spoke.

"you guys are sure about this?" Ashton asked looking between the both of us.

"positive." We said in-sync.

"I don't deserve you guys." Ashton said pulling us into a hug.

"True but does anyone really?" Michael replied laughing.
