*Present Day*

"Sir what are you gonna do?" The doctor asked.

I just stood there trying my best to go through every option and make the best decision the one that she would choose, but nothing I couldn't. All I could think about was her I needed her.

"Do what ever it takes to save her. Do the first option. Try to save them both but make sure you save her." I couldn't believe the words that same out of my mouth. Was I really telling them to let the baby go if things start to go south?

The doctor nodded and wrote something down before disappearing behind a door.

I went over and sat back in my seat. The tears started faster and harder.  It was so bad she needed surgery. Why couldn't someone tell me what exactly happen or let me see her?

"Michael! Is she ok? Please tell me my baby is ok." Mrs. Johnson said as she came running in.

"They said she has to go in for surgery and that's all they've said they won't tell me anything else or let me see her." I tried to keep calm so I could help her be calm but nothing worked.

"Let me talk to them maybe I can find something out." She said before going over to the desk.

I just sat there I was still hoping I could wake up from this nightmare and she'd be beside me asleep and I'd hold her close to me.

Ashton moved over and sat beside me along with Luke and Calum. They where trying to be comforting and distracting, but nothing was working I sat there just blaming myself for letting her go. I began to feel tired as my tears began to stop. I had cried so much that I just couldn't anymore.

"Mr. Clifford?" A nurse said as she walked out the doors every doctor seemed to disappear behind.

"Yes ma'am?" I asked as I stood up.

"Can you come with me please?" She asked as she started walking through the doors.

I took a deep breath and followed her. We walked down so many halls: so many turns I never would have been able to find my way in let alone the way out.

"I need you to put this on." The woman said handing me a thing to cover my clothes, a thing to go on my head, a mask and some gloves.

Not questioning it I put them on as she did. I figured she was going to take me to see Calliope so I wasn't going to fight anything.

Once we were both ready she took me through another set of doors. To my surprise behind the door where babies in incubators. Each one had the name of a parent and the babies name on it as we walked further through them. On one of the incubators said Mother Calliope Johson and Father Michael Clifford.

"Your fiancé is still in surgery but I thought you'd like to see your baby boy. He's very healthy for being born so early, but it still a 24hr thing on how it can go." I listened to her as I just sat in the little chair by the incubator and looked at him.

He was small and had several things attached o him so they could keep tracks of his breathing and heart rate, but he was still so cute. He was ours. He was gonna make it. I just know it. He's a fighter like his mother. They'll both come out of this. They have to.

 They have to
