Love this!! I thought I'd share this video with you guys. I don't know if any of you watch cop YouTubers or have heard of any of them, but I noticed Officer Daniels (the guy with pink hair lol), Deputy Hook'em and Book'em. They, among a few others, such as MiketheCop, are with an organization called "Humanizing the Badge" and "Project HUMAN".

So, the people involved in "Project HUMAN" and "Free Hugs Project" teamed up to try to build some relationships in this community between law enforcement and the kids by playing a fun game of dodgeball and having a vital conversation. This is exactly what we need more of. This is what is going to bridge the gap between the police and next generation. Little things like this may not seem like it will change much. But for each kid, it could change their world and their future for the better, directing each of them down the right path in life.

Although we may not notice it, this positive interaction, between cops and kids happens all the time. It may not make the news or a Youtube video, but it does. There are so many times where cops go beyond the call of duty to do something good for people. And that's perfectly fine. Of course, I've said it before and I'll say it again. They're not looking for recognition. Except the only thing is... It's that very fact that these things aren't being brought up enough.

Cops have played basketball, played catch with a football, a water gun and balloon fight (where the officer had bought them), going down a slip-and-slide after a note complaint call, a sword fight with his extendable baton, and a few dance-offs. Hence my video...

Cops are HUMAN -- Fun Police Tribute

You can watch it in one of the previous chapters in this book if you'd like. :)

The point is police officers are trying to connect with the community. And with what I've seen they're really doing an amazing job with it. Keep it up, blue brothers and sisters!
