THE TASK
Welcome, and thanks to everyone for helping us fill so quickly! We're sure you're all interested in seeing how your first task will play out, so without further ado, here it is.
Some way, somehow, through a means unknown to you, you've found yourself stuck in an enormous dome-like structure. In short, a circle. You can't see outside (but somebody else can see inside, unbeknownst to you. Wink). You're not alone in this circle, though. There are nineteen others with you.
You won't remember how you got here, and you likely won't know anybody who is trapped here with you. All that you remember is everything that happened before you were put here.
All you have to do in this task is write the initial panic of having twenty people realize they've been taken to some unknown place. Oh, that, and you've gotta learn the rules of the Circle.
THE RULES
#1: No steppin' outsida your own marked circle (large enough to fit your whole person so long as they stay standing). Personal space people. Y'know when you were little and the teacher said not to step into somebody else's bubble? Yep, that. In this case, if you disobey the rule, you will most assuredly die.
#2: Eventually, each of you will come to the revelation that when somebody in the Circle dies, it's because they were voted to die. That's right, folks. Your tributes will be voting for who will die next, and in a time constraint. It will continue like this until only three remain. That's when things get tricky.
#3: You may not vote for yourself to die. If a tie occurs between two or more individuals, another round of voting will occur in which you vote for one of the two (or more) to die.
#4: This isn't so much a rule as it is common sense. You'll probably want people to like you. So if you've done some terrible things - like murder - maybe keep that to yourself. You can talk as much as you want regardless. Reasoning and persuasion will be two of your greatest assets here. That, and being adorable.
This will likely be the most complicated task of the entire games, so make sure you've got everything down!
