Alright, finally it's time for results! We won't waste any time getting straight down to the matter, except for saying once more that we're so proud of everyone that entered the competition - no matter how the final tallies stacked up.

Bartholomew Haroldson [written by @ MyNameIsInigoMontoya]

To start off, the PUPPER. The moment someone brought a dog in here it was safe to say several people were skeptical on whether this was a joke or not. Barth turned out to blow us all away with the unique perspective of a furry canine - from pup all the way to old woofer. We laughed at his adorable prancing and almost childish naivety that was depicted alongside him, and we (almost) cried when abandonment and a wrong decision struck him with heartbreak. He was, without a doubt, a good boy.

Mister Smith [written by @ CrocodileRocker]

When we first got messaged on bringing an alien into the competition, it took a lot of convincing to get us to allow such a thing - specifically speaking, I used the word "subtle" to Shay. This turned out not to be the case. From an outrageous form, to jolly ranchers, to howling at the moon, to bleeding chocolate, and corn... no longer on the cob, Mister was a ride from start to finish. The televised perspective was a twist all of its own, and the score that went with it is something we desperately need available on itunes.

Saga Ström [written by @ HannahFare]

Oh, sweet little pianist. Saga was an angel to watch grow up, never quite in tune with her music or the world around her. It was heartbreaking to watch her struggle with whatever wouldn't click. Her mother abandoning her father was hard enough the first time, let alone discovering and watching it all over again upon realizing the truth. Her backstory worked like clock work, and the writing flowed well throughout, masterfully crafted. It was easy to empathize with Saga and her situation, and we were all secretly rooting for her to finally drop that mixtape (fire, sizzle sizzle) and move past the confliction she faced day to day. With a moving finale, this second place spot was well-deserved.

Robin Laverne [written by @ lostwithmyfriends]

First and foremost, you made Shay cry. That is an achievement to always be proud of. B- Robin's character and life were a ride from start to finish. From her mother, who had a fantastic personality all on her own, to poor sweet Perry (bless that boy), to her string of lovers, and her father, each of the connections was special and heart wrenching. Set up expertly, her backstory was something incredibly easy to get sucked into, and her character was someone we connected with immediately. Running away on a seemingly endless loop never got old, and now we can never look at red gummies or listen to the sound of a bell the same way ever again. Still, I can say for the both of us that we don't ever want her story to end. And because she found freedom, it doesn't have to, for her.

Congratulations to our outstanding victor and each of these lovely finalists! We really enjoyed having each and every one of you, even if you didn't make it this far. Each entry really varied from person to person, writer and character alike, and we definitely saw that and had a lot of fun discussing what we thought was going to happen next or just how great it really was to see all these different storylines. So thank you from the both of us, and we hope to see you next time.
