Name: Mister Smith (His given name roughly translates to Lol Gimble, but he had to change it to an unassuming Earth name shortly after his arrival. He was first called Mister by a young lady who was wondering why he was talking into her mailbox, and the Smith was added after the Google advised him it was the most common British surname.)

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Location: He grew up on Mars, in the Venotium metropolis, but was deployed to Birmingham, England about a month ago.

Occupation: Martian scout. Twelve including Mister were sent out to learn about their neighboring planet. Not much was known about what would happen to them, so he doesn't have any specifics tasks other than to observe, survive, and catch the ship back home in six months. Prior missions were sent to the moon to study, and later replicate, their spacecraft and even the appearance of the astronauts, although this was only possible because both species look relatively similar anyway. These covert operations were what provided the information to allow Mister to travel to Earth.

Physical Appearance: A slender fellow, there isn't a curve on Mister's body. Every joint is jagged, every transition exaggerated. If someone mentioned it, a sickly ghost of blue would materialize in his skin, but to cursory looks it appears only pale. Being preoccupied, he has stood complicit while his hair and stubble has grown out; a bad idea for any martian as they generally have unworkably spotty and slimy follicles. Overall, he's a far cry from what pop culture has predicted, but it did get a few things right. Big forehead? Check. No ears? Check. Naturally, he only has ear holes, but was fitted with prosthetics attached by a heavy duty velcro. For those interested, the prickly half of velcro is glued to his head (which hurt, by the way) and the soft, loopy half is sewn to the prosthetic ears. Oh, and he doesn't have a belly button, as he was an egg-baby. Remember this, 'cause it might become important eventually.

Personality: On Mars, in the culture he is used to, he is a respectable man. Taking the risk to become a practicing scout is one of the highest honors, and even the family (a wife and two kids) that he left behind were proud of him when he left. Now? He does not know. Courageous enough to take up new tasks, and put himself out there, but always mindful of courtesy and manners, he was quite popular. Here on Earth, he is trying his best to stay true to himself, but has little clue of how he should behave to elicit a similar reputation. Some of his misunderstandings make him out to be mental, while more unfortunate ones make him look outright bad. Without getting into too much detail, he has made in with a group of friends whose hearts make up for maybe a third of their other shortcomings. Now he uses a sharp tongue, even when talking pleasantries, and will verbally attack others at an increased clip, because that is what he has learned to do during his stay. Some of the major things, like high crimes, he knows are deplorable because similar circumstances arose back home as well, but the littler, more nuanced things, to him, are guesswork.

Values: Commitment. So much has been sacrificed to make this excursion, for what he thinks is for the betterment of his community, that he must be committed to the job. In this context, it means he is selfishly worried about his own survival, as that is the job he is tasked with.

Other: His body needs roughly four times the sugar intake as a normal man. To achieve this, he downs a can of peaches with every meal. Also he carries around Jolly Ranchers and takes them like pills when needed. Swallows them whole, the madman!
