Lazy day

Louis' point of view

When I woke up the next morning I was actually surprised that Niall hadn't come worming his way in last night. Liam was still flat out not that I'm surprised as he didn't stop yesterday taking care of Niall.

I quietly got out of bed and showered and got ready for the day. I figured we would be staying home all day as I doubt Niall would be feeling 100% yet so I just got dressed into some comfy clothes.

Once I was downstairs I made a start on breakfast and just as it was nearly ready Niall came in rubbing his eyes.

'Morning little bug how you feeling this morning?' I asked as I picked him up.

'My head hurts.'

'Do you feel sick?'

'No just my head.' Well that's better than yesterday.

I placed my hand on his forehead and he still felt quite warm to me but I didn't really know these things as Liam was in charge of this kind of stuff bearing in mind it's what he does for a living.

'Do you want some breakfast?'

'Can I have a piece of toast.'

'I can do that.' I then placed him in his chair and got started on his toast.

It wasn't long until Liam and Harry came downstairs and soon everyone was sat around the table.

'How you feeling today Ni?'

'Head hurts.'

'That's not good.' Liam said as he pouted at Niall. He then turned to me obviously wanting more of an explanation.

'He came down about 30 minutes ago complaining his head hurts. I think he's still warm but he says he doesn't feel sick anymore.'

'Well that's something.' Liam told me as he placed his own hand on Niall's forehead.

'Yeah he is still warm. Can you pass me the thermometer it's in the medicine cupboard? Do you want some medicine Ni?'

'Yeah please daddy.'

I passed Liam the thermometer and the children's pain relief and then went and sat back down finishing breakfast.

While Liam was sorting Niall out I went and got Harry dressed and when I returned I found Liam and Niall led on the couch under a lot of blankets.

'What's all this?'

'I think we're going to have a lazy family day as Niall still isn't feeling to great but he's no longer contagious meaning Harry can be in close proximity.'

'Sounds good to me. What film we starting with then?' I asked as I sat on the other sofa with a blanket.

'How about lion king.'

Everyone nodded and Harry climbed onto my lap happily cuddling into me.

5 movies later and I was incredibly bored. I'm not used to having nothing to do and I really didn't like it. I don't think I was the only bored one though.

'Papa can we do something?'

'What do you mean we're watching films?'

'But I'm bored of watching films.'

I looked over to Liam for ideas but he was sound asleep along with Niall. I then got an idea.

'How about we do some baking?'

'Yes can we?' Harry answered very excitedly.

'Come on let's see if we have what we need to make some cupcakes.'
