Louis' point of view

I didn't even know why I was wasting my time planning lessons tonight. I mean I put so much time into this and half my class aren't even in due to a flu bug. It is strange though as it seems to only be my class that is affected.

"You okay love?"

"Hmm I don't know why I'm even bothering to be honest Li." I said as I turned around to face Liam.

"How many do you have out now?"

"12"

"Wow that's nearly half."

"Hmm it probably will be half by tomorrow. Are the kids asleep?"

"Harry is Niall's just finishing some homework."

"Okay I've nearly finished this anyway so we can watch a movie or something in a bit."

"Yeah I'd like that." And then he kissed my forehead and left the room.

When I had finally finished planning tomorrow's lessons I went and sat on the sofa next to Niall and Liam who was helping Niall with his times tables.

"Your getting good at these now Ni." I said to him as he said his 8 times table to Liam without any hesitation.

He smiled at me and then he came and sat down next to me.

"What's up bug."

"Just tired."

"That's because you left your homework till last minute and are now up past your bedtime doing it." I said as I tickled him.

"Papa stop."

"Alright but I think it's time for you to go to bed."

He nodded and let Liam pick him up and then they both headed upstairs. When they were gone I noticed that I had the beginnings of headache forming behind my eyes, but I just put it down to doing planning on the computer without my glasses as I had broke them earlier today and couldn't be bothered to find my spares, so I just got up and swallowed down some pills without a second thought.

"Right so that's Niall in bed shall we watch this movie then."

"Yep I'm coming." I said as I filled my glass with water and headed for the sofa and curled into Liam.

"You alright love?"

"Yeah just tired its hard planning for just half the class it's going to be even worse when they start coming back and are all in different places from being in on different days."

"Your be fine love, your an amazing teacher your think of something."

I just nodded and curled in more to Liam as I was cold for some unknown reason and soon I found myself falling asleep curled up in his arms.

Liam must have carried me up to bed as the next time I woke up I was in bed and it was 3am according to my alarm clock. Why on earth was I awake. It was dead silent so it wasn't one of the kids and Liam was still snoring slightly so it wasn't him either. However as soon as I sat up and had some of my water I realised why I was awake and I was not happy about it.

My head was pounding, I was sweating, my throat was on fire and I couldn't breathe out of my nose. Well isn't this just fantastic I thought. I hardly ever got sick I had one of the strongest immune systems going, however this flu bug from work had obviously got the better of me.

I was a bit of a child when on the rare occasions I did get sick. I had no clue how to look after myself and relied a lot on Liam. Even though he specialised in kids health he could still take care of adults and I'm his husband after all. Taking all this into consideration I decided to wake him up.
