First fall out

Liam's point of view

I woke up to the sound of someone whimpering and remembering Niall was in our bed and the events of yesterday I instantly rolled over and found a quietly crying Niall.

"What's wrong little bug?" I questioned Niall and once he saw I was awake he curled into my side and continued to cry.

"It hurts."

"Aw I know baby it will for a couple of days as even though the doctors put it back in place it's badly bruised." I told him as I kissed his hair. I then saw Louis starting to move about and he stretched out before opening his eyes.

"You know your like a cat when you wake up." I told Louis and he glared at me before he noticed Niall curled into my side.

"What's wrong Ni?" Louis questioned are little blonde and Niall just rolled over to face Louis however he must have rolled onto his knee cause he let out a pained cry. Louis sighed and pulled Niall in closer to him and I got up and went to find the children's pain relief.

When I returned I found Louis and Niall cuddled together and gently got back in the bed trying not to move around too much and disturb Niall.

"Ni can you sit up please. I have some medicine for you which should help the pain."

Niall nodded and Louis helped him sit up in a way that didn't hurt his knee. I then gave Niall the recommended dose before I got up and started to get ready.

"Are you two going to get up?" I questioned seeing Louis making absolutely no move at all to get up and Niall starting to lie back down next to Louis.

"Were good here for now I think." Louis said as he turned the TV on and started to play with Niall's hair.

"Alright well I'm going to head down as I won't hear the door otherwise and I'm not sure when your mums bringing Harry home."

"Alright Li I'm going to let the pain meds kick in for Niall and then we're try getting up."

"Okay I'll see you two later then." Louis nodded and Niall didn't move at all so I'm guessing he was asleep again. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw Louis nod as an answer to my thoughts. I then left the room heading downstairs to wait for Harry to come home.

It was about an hour later when I heard a knock on the door. Louis and Niall had still yet to make an appearance but I was happy to let them stay upstairs all day as I wasn't sure if I wanted Niall going up and down the stairs constantly and I understood that he didn't want to be alone. If they don't come down in the next half hour or so I'll take breakfast up to them.

"Hey Haz." I said as soon as I opened the door and Harry cuddled straight into me.

"Missed you." Harry mumbled and I picked him up kissing his forehead.

"I missed you too baby." I then let Jay in who was just standing on the doorstep.

Jay followed me into the kitchen while Harry stayed on my hip and I made a coffee for me and jay.

"So what actually happened yesterday my son wasn't very helpful at explaining?" Jay asked as I got Harry situated on my lap in the family area.

"Louis called me around lunchtime saying Niall had fallen off the monkey bars at school landing badly on his knee and he needed advice. I went over to the school and quickly realised that Niall had dislocated his knee so we took him to A&E and they got it back in place. He's currently in a knee brace and is on crutches for the next week. Louis is currently upstairs with Niall as he's in a lot of pain and doesn't want to get out of bed and hurt his knee anymore."
