'This is so unfair, why do I have to go in today, it's going to be exactly the same as every other year. Don't make me go Li.'

'I'm sorry love but you don't really have much of a choice.' I chuckled as I watched him put on his tie.

'I hate teacher training days with such passion they are so boring.'

It was Friday and Louis was massively complaining as he had to go to work for a training day and sort out his classroom for when term starts on Monday and the kids return. However I was still on summer break until Monday so I was spending the day with the kids while Louis was working.

'Well you have had 6 weeks off love you had to go back at some point.' I said as I rolled off the bed to help him with his tie.

'It wouldn't be as bad if they were different. Every year I have to sit through 5 of these days and not one of them changes year on year.'

'Come on love stop moaning and let's go downstairs as I have left the kids alone down there.'

'I haven't been a day without them yet. I'm going to miss them so much.' Louis said with a sigh and picked up his work bag.

'Don't worry love its only 7 hours and when you come home we will have a movie night all together on the couch and order a takeaway.'

'Hmm that sounds nice.' I nodded and took his hand before leading him downstairs.

'What are you doing today anyway?'

'I'm thinking about taking them to that trampoline park that has just opened I mean it's meant to rain as well today.'

'I don't envy you that place will be packed.' I just shrugged and walked into the family area.

'Morning babies.'

'Papa.' I heard before Harry and Niall went running to Louis.

'Why are you dressed like that?'

'Like what?'

'You have a tie on and your glasses, you only wear your glasses when you read or watch telly.'

'Well I'm going to work today, so your going to stay with daddy all day and then I'll be home later.'

'Will you come home?' I heard Harry whisper and then Louis picked him up.

'Course I will baby and when I come home we're going to all watch a film and order pizza.'

Harry just lied his head on Louis' shoulder and grasped onto his top hard.

'Why aren't we going to school then. I thought Papa was a teacher?'

'He is but 5 times a year students get an extra day off and teachers like Papa have to go in to sort out their classrooms and have training.' I explained.

'Can I go with you?' I heard Harry ask who had now started to cry. I know Louis was worried about being without the kids for the first time and I don't think the kids especially Harry were to keen either.

'Aw baby boy don't cry. Your going to have loads of fun with daddy today and I'll be home before you know it. Trust me it will be much more fun than going with me.'

'I don't care.' Niall was on my lap watching the scene play out but he seemed to be more settled around the idea.

I saw Louis look at his watch and sigh. I knew he needed to get going.

'Come here Haz, Papa needs to go.'

'Noooooo.'

I placed Niall down on the couch and then I took a crying Harry out of Louis' hold so he could leave.
