Loose tooth

Liam's point of view

"Daddy?"

"Yeah Haz?" I called from my place on the sofa. It was just me and Harry Home as Louis had taken Niall out for the day to some science museum that he was desperate to go to. Harry had no interest in science or museums what so ever, so I said I would stay home with him as he would just whine the whole way round if we took him.

"Why is my tooth wobbly?" Harry asked me appearing in the family room.

"Come here." I said and he trotted over.

"Which one?" I asked him and he pointed to one of his front teeth.

"This one." He said as he poked it and it did wobble.

"I think your about to loose your first tooth." I told him but I was not expecting the reaction I got.

"What? I don't want to loose my tooth." He cried before jumping onto my lap and crying into my chest.

"Haz, Shh it's okay, there only baby teeth they have to fall out so you get big teeth come in there place." He looked up at me and sniffled before wiping his eyes.

"Did you loose your teeth?"

"Yep and now I have loads of new teeth, Niall's only got a couple of baby teeth left now as well." I told him.

"How will I eat?"

"Baby you don't loose them all at the same time. Your loose them gradually as you get older and new teeth will grow in straight away." I told him and he nodded.

"What happens to my old tooth?" He asked me and I smiled.

"Well your get a visit from the tooth fairy who will take your tooth but will leave money in its place when you place your tooth under your pillow." Harry looked up at me and smiled.

"So she buys my teeth."

"I guess." I said to him and he nodded before scampering away to do who knows what.

"Owwwww" I heard someone scream and I was instantly up on my feet knowing it was only me and Harry Home still.

"Harry." I called running upstairs and into the playroom seeing Harry holding his mouth.

"Love What happened."

"I was trying to pull my tooth." He cried and I saw his hand was covered in blood as was his mouth.

"Harry, you need to let it come out in its own time. Come on let's go to the bathroom and I'll have a look." He nodded and stood taking my hand and I led him to the bathroom.

"Sit on the toilet seat Love." I told him and he did what I said while I got a wet cloth.

"Open your mouth baby." I told him and he nodded doing what I said so I carefully wiped the blood up and applied pressure to his tooth until it stopped.

"Harry, baby I need to pull it out as you've managed to only pull it half out so it practically dangling by a thread." I told him and he whimpered.

"Is it going to hurt?"

"I'm not going to lie baby, it probably will." Harry whimpered sadly but nodded.

"Okay Baby I'm going to just wiggle it and hopefully it will just fall." I told him and he nodded letting me do what I wanted.

"Daddy stop it hurts." Harry whined pushing my hand away and I sighed but stopped.

"Alright Baby Let's go and try something else." I told him and he nodded following me downstairs.
