Snow

Louis' point of view

"It's really coming down out there now." I said looking out the bedroom window. They had said on the weather last night that we could get hit with snow but it was pretty hit or miss but I would say it had definitely hit.

"Well lucky you then as I would have thought school will be cancelled." I heard Liam say as he walked up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Would you still have to go to work?" I asked him turning around and he nodded.

"Yeah unfortunately. Unless the roads are either blocked or were snowed in I have to go. I might get let out early though as it could get dangerous to get home otherwise."

"I wish you didn't have to go, I mean we can do so much stuff with the boys." I said just as my phone buzzed and I went over to look at it.

"Let me guess that's your text to freedom." Liam said and I chuckled.

"Yeah, schools cancelled." I said and I would be lying if I wasn't happy about that as the last week has been chaos but I'm finally caught up with my marking and I want it to stay that way.

"Snow." One of the boys shouted suddenly and liam and I just looked at each other.

"Niall." We Both said at the same time before said boy came running into our room.

"Good morning bug." I said with a smile as he came running over to Liam and I.

"Do we have to go to school today Papa. I want to play in the snow, I've never been allowed before." Niall said and I smiled.

"Well funny you should ask that Ni, as I've just had a text saying schools cancelled so we can do exactly that." I said picking the boy up who smiled widely.

"Are you home dad?" He asked Liam who was heading towards the bathroom I'm guessing to start getting ready for work.

"Afraid Not Love, but hopefully I'll be home earlier than normal." Liam said before he headed into the bathroom and Niall sighed.

"I know you want dad home as well but he needs to help children who are sick get better. If he could though I promise you he would have stayed home." I said to Niall who nodded his head.

"I know, hopefully he's home before it gets dark so we can still play with him for a bit." Niall said and I smiled before placing him down as the bedroom door had opened again and Harry had walked in.

"Papa why's it all white outside?" Harry asked and I smiled as the last time it had snowed Harry had probably been to young to remember and we also don't normally get this much either.

"It's snow baby." I said lifting him onto my hip so he could look out the window.

"It's pretty," He mumbled and I smiled.

"It is at the moment but I'm sure once you and Niall are let loose out there it won't look pretty for long." I said as Harry looked at me confused.

"Why would we be out there? Don't we have school?"

"No love, schools not open because of the snow and snow is something that you can play with. You can build all kinds of things with it. Think of it like white building blocks." I said and Harry smiled and nodded.

"Morning baby." Liam said as he came out the bathroom dressed for work and Harry turned around before wiggling to be put down and went over to Liam.

"Daddy, Papa said I get to play in the snow today."

"Did He now, Well I bet your have fun today then." Liam said and Harry nodded happily.

"Right I need to get going so I'll see you lot later. Lou if there outside make sure there wrapped up warm I don't want them getting sick." Liam said and I nodded.
