Liam's point of view

I had a long night. Niall was awake every hour throwing up and then it took him about another 30 minutes to calm down and fall back asleep.

When I woke up the next morning Niall was curled into me and Louis was nowhere to be seen. I rolled over and saw a note on my bedside table from Louis.

'Morning Li

I've taken Harry to my mums for the day. I didn't want to wake you as you looked really peaceful and I know you were up a lot with Ni last night. I will see you later.

Love you

Lou xx'

At least Harry was out of the way.

I gently placed my hand on Niall's forehead and he was still burning.

I sighed and got out of bed to grab the thermometer for when he wakes up next.

When I returned I got back into bed and pulled Niall into my chest. He moved around slightly but didn't wake up thankfully. I then turned the TV on and waited for my little blonde to wake up.

I felt Niall start to stir around an hour later.

'You alright baby?'

'No it hurts.'

'I know baby but it will get better it's only a tummy bug.'

Niall nodded into my chest and then sadly looked up at me.

'Aw baby let me take your temperature and then we'll give it 30 minutes. If you haven't been sick in that time I will try and give you some medicine again alright.'

'Okay.' I could hear that his voice was pretty hoarse. He had probably destroyed it from all the throwing up he had done.

'Open your mouth then.' I said as I rolled over and got the thermometer from my bedside table.

I slid it under his tongue and allowed him to lean against me while I played with his hair.

When the device started to beep I removed it from his mouth and I'm not going to lie I was a bit concerned with the number. At 103.4 I knew something needed to be done but he couldn't keep any thing down so fever reducing medicine was out of the question.

'Niall can you try and drink some water for me and then we'll go and get you in a nice cold bath.'

I handed him the water and he just stared at it unimpressed.

'Little bug I really need you to drink something or your going to get dehydrated and that will make you even more poorly.'

He hesitantly took small sips of the water before handing it back.

'Can you drink anymore?'

'No daddy.'

I knew it probably wasn't going to stay down long any way so I just left it, but if does manage to keep it down then he can drink some more.
