Happy birthday Niall

Louis' point of view

When I woke this morning it was not to my alarm clock but to Liam poking my side.

"Li stop. Why are you waking me up the alarm hasn't gone off yet." I told him as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"I know baby but may I remind you that it's a certain blondes birthday who is probably going to want pancakes and open presents meaning this morning needs to be started early or were all going to be late to work and school." I nodded and then turned to Liam.

"Did you get this afternoon off?" I asked him as Liam was trying to get a half day so he could decorate the house for when Niall comes home from school.

"They couldn't say it depends how busy we are."

"I hope you can."

"So do I I want this day to be really special for him."

"I know I do as well anyway how we going to do this then? Are we waking the boys and getting them to come in here for presents or are we going to do presents while we eat breakfast?" I questioned Liam who got out of bed.

"I think we should do presents in here first. You know what Niall's like with the syrup it will go all over his presents. I'll go wake Harry you go and get the birthday boy." I nodded and got up quickly heading into the bathroom before heading to Niall's room.

When I entered Niall's room he was all curled up under his blankets with spot in his hand. I went and sat on his bed carefully avoiding his knee and gently ran my hand through his hair.

"Wake up birthday boy." I said softly and slowly he opened his eyes.

"Hmm Papa."

"Hey baby, happy birthday." Niall smiled and sat up rubbing his eyes.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah Papa."

"Come on then baby lets go to mine and daddy's room and we're going to open some presents." He smiled widely and I carefully picked him up before walking over to mine and Liam's room.

Liam was already in the bed with a half asleep Harry cuddled into his side and smiled when he saw me enter the room with Niall on my hip.

"Hey little bug, happy birthday." I heard Liam say as I placed Niall down on the bed. I then went into our wardrobe and got Niall's presents out that me and Liam had spent ages wrapping last night.

When I got them out I saw Niall smile widely and then when the presents were on the bed I got back in bed and pulled Niall onto my lap.

"Okay baby lets get started then. These are only from me and daddy. Nana is bringing hers over later and grandma and grandpa have posted your present which should arrive today." Niall nodded happily and made a start on the presents from me and Liam.

"Thank you." Niall said with a huge smile after he had finished opening his presents.

"Your welcome baby. Do you like them?"

"Yeah I love them." Niall told me and Liam as he turned around and hugged me. We had gotten Niall quite a bit of stuff as we wanted this birthday to be special and one he remembers. We got him a load of Lego from when we went to Legoland, DVDs, a new football and a radio controlled car which he had been begging me and Liam for for weeks.

"Right okay I think it's time to get up and ready and then we can have breakfast." I saw Liam nod and I then realised I hadn't heard a word from Harry.
