Niall was having a brilliant time. He was centre of attention and he had his best friend with him. Harry was also happy as Ernest was there so he was playing with him.
"Alright I think it's time to open some presents." I heard Liam call and Niall squealed with excitement before sitting down on one of the sofas.
"Here Niall open mine first." I heard Ashton say and Niall took the present that was being held out to him.
"Thanks." Niall said before he started to unwrap the present. Niall smiled and hugged Ashton when he saw what it was and when I walked over and looked over Niall's shoulder I smiled. Even a friend who has only known Niall for 2 weeks knows about Niall's obsession with Lego.
"Okay Niall here's our present." My mum called handing Niall a box to unwrap. When Niall unwrapped he looked a bit confused on what it was to begin with so I decided to explain to him what it was as I had something very similar when I was Niall's age.
"It's a circuit building kit Ni, you have to follow instructions and put wires and batteries and stuff in the right place to make them work."

"Wow, thanks Nana and grandad." Niall said and I could see the excitement in his eyes when he learnt what it was.
"You know your Papa used to have one when he was your age and I can remember him and your daddy sitting at the kitchen table for hours trying to get the circuits to work." My mum explained to Niall.
"Aw awesome a circuit builder I used to love these." Liam said as he walked in. "you weren't very good though Lou if I remember correctly." I was about to protest but my mum started talking before I got the chance.
"No he wasn't I can remember you used to always through a fit when you couldn't get it to work at the end Lou." Liam laughed and I just blushed.
"Are they difficult?" I heard Niall ask.
"They range in difficulty if I remember right but I'm sure me and daddy can help out with the harder ones."
"Lou if you couldn't do it 20 years ago I'm sure you can't do it now."
"You never know Liam and you weren't much better yourself you were just better at hiding your frustrations." Liam laughed and kissed me before turning back to Niall.
"Here Ni this has just come, its from grandma and grandpa."
Niall smiled and took the present from Liam and when Niall opened it I don't think I've ever seen Liam look so shocked in his life.
"Wow I've always wanted rollerblades." Niall said and Liam just looked on in disbelief.
"Are my parents crazy. He's literally just come off crutches."
"Li calm down, when he goes out on them he will be fully protected and either me or you will have to be with him at all times." I said quietly so Niall wouldn't hear.
