Louis' point of view
"You sure your okay to go back to work." I heard Liam ask me as I started to get dressed.
"Yes Li it's just a cough that's left now." I said to my concerned husband. It was now Monday morning and there was no way I was taking anymore time off from work. I had been reading all my emails last night from the cover teacher and there was hardly any positives it was mainly just negatives. Obviously there was the couple of student names that had been well behaved but the majority. Well it had just been a disaster.
"Lou just come here a minute." I sighed and walked over to him knowing what he was about to do. I still had a fever last night and I know Liam will Put up a fight if I still have one.
"Li I'm fine." I said as I felt him put his hand on my forehead.
"Your still warm Lou."
"Li it's hardly a fever it was 100.1 last night probably even lower now." I said and Liam sighed getting up out of bed.
"I'm going to get the thermometer if your temperature is above 100 your not going to work end of conversation." I rolled my eyes at my over protective husband and continued to get dressed. I knew Liam was going back to work today anyway so even if he said I couldn't go I would just go when he left for work anyway. I'm a grown man I can make my own decisions.
"Right place this under your tongue and keep it there until it beeps. I'm going to make sure the kids are moving and then I'll be back." I nodded and placed the thermometer under my tongue as I watched Liam leave the room. I watched as the numbers increased and I just prayed they didn't go to high. It soon hit 98.6 but the number continued to increase but it had slowed down so although I knew i still had a fever it wasn't going to be very high.
"Has it beeped yet?" Liam asked walking into the room and I shook my head. Liam nodded and sat down on the bed motioning for me to sit next to him which I did. The thermometer did beep eventually and when I looked at the number I smirked.
"What is it?"
"100 exactly." I heard Liam sigh and he was about to say something but I stopped him.
"You said above 100 which it is not. Look I know you worry about me but I'm going to be fine the worse of it is over and if I feel to bad throughout the day I'll come home Okay." Liam looked unsure but nodded.
"Just promise me you will come home if you need to. I know what your like." Liam said knowing I normally said one thing but did the complete opposite.
"Promise." I said as I kissed him and messed up his hair.
"Lou that took ages." He whined and I just looked at him.
"Who you trying to impress? Do I need to remind you your already married and have kids." I said with a smirk.
"Well maybe I want to try new things."
"Well I like it how it normally is." I said sorting his hair out how he normally has it.
"Fine. I like it more like this anyway." He said and I smiled.
"Right you better get going or your going to be late and I need to feed the kids and then leave myself so I'll see you later." I said before kissing him once more and heading downstairs seeing both boys sat in the family room watching cartoons.
"Come and get some breakfast boys." I called and they came running in.
"You going back to work Papa?" Niall asked seeing what I was wearing.
"Yes I am." I said as I put a bowl of cereal in front of both boys.
"Thank you." Harry said and I kissed his curls before looking at Niall expectantly.
