"And that's what happened."
Trey and Myra look at each other and back to me.
"Well Daaaaamn you little nasty" Trey says as he laughs
I sit back on the couch, take a sip of my soda and laugh.
"You know what, it all makes sense now." Myra says
"What you mean?"
"The fuck you think? When we came over this morning, you answered the door with this glow on your face. When you went to get a snack, you had a limp in your walk." Trey says
"So what are you trying to say?" I ask Trey with my arms folded
"Kamaal put work on dat that ass and it's so obvious!!!"
"Ugh, shutup Myra." I say as I laugh
"Don't be evil Chris. But what happened to you not wanting to have sex with him until the right moment?"
"I asked myself the same question when we were finished. I never expected it. I pulled his dick out and it just happened."
"Mmmhmm...classic hoe line." Myra says as her and Trey bust out laughing. Trey laughs so hard he falls on the floor.
"But I'm glad your both happy. It's good to see your not caught up in your feelings about Jamal."
"I never was. He's the one that can't let me go."
"True, but who was the one who was so insecure? Aint nobody in that school checkin for me. Does any of that sound familiar? Myra asks me
I shrug my shoulders and just let it ride. If I continued talking about it, then the conversation would never end.
"So what time does his flight leave?" Trey asks
"Later on tonight."
"So are you gonna get the dicky dick again before he leaves?"
"I don't think so. I'm still suffering from the pounding he gave me last night. He did say he wanted to spend some time with me later today."
"Awwwwe." Myra and Trey say as they look at me. As they continue to ridicule me, my mom steps in the living room.
"Hi Trey, hi Myra. How are y'all doing?" She asks them
"Fine..." They both say
"How's school going?"
"Since when do you care? You never ask us about school." Trey asks as he laughs.
"You're right, I don't, mainly because you're not my damn child. Hell, as much of my food you be eating, I might as well claim you as a dependent on my income taxes next year."
Myra and I laugh at my mom's remark. That's what happens when you come for Mother Richardson.
"Chris, do me a favor and put those clothes in the dryer."
I roll my eyes and slowly get up. I put the clothes in the dryer and head back in the living room. As I'm walking back, mom looks at me up and down.
"Chris go check the mail."
I roll my eyes again. Why is she making me do all these favors when I'm struggling to walk? Kamaal really put in work and now I'm suffering because of it. I hand her the mail and 21 questions start.
"How was the movie? What did you do afterwards? Boy why the hell you walkin like you-"
She stops in the middle on her question and smiles wide at me.
