Chapter 3- Three Musketeers

" He has pack warriors though?" We were currently in the office, also named as the strategic room for any plan or mission that we receive from Russia. " He's worried about the pack, with the recent attacks on the neighbouring packs he's been fretting over it" We all nodded. We knew the current situation in America, more and more greed wanting Alpha's and wolves that have been expelled turn rogue and attack others to gain dominance and control.

" Does the palace know about this?" Viviana asked.

"No, I'm not making any decisions until I've spoke to my dad" Dem is the son of the king of supernaturals, so technically he's the next for the throne. "Knowing uncle Vik we're going to be controlling the pack more than once a week" We control the pack once a week on Wednesday for the whole night, which means we end up with no sleep what so ever for the following day. " I'm going to ring him before we leave" Dem said and we took that as a chance to leave and get ready.

" Caius I called shotgun and I'm not moving" I was sat in the front passenger seat of Caspian's white Audi. " But... Lily our double act" Caius was pointing between him and Caspian who was sat at the driver's seat, clearly enjoying our bickering. " Yeah this double act" I pointed between the twins " can be done from you sat there" I pointed to the back seat, I was not moving.

"Oh come on guys, I know you crave to be in my presence but" Caspian started fanning himself pretending to be hot. " Seriously, you guys are the funniest people I have ever met" Arria said walking over to the car that her and Demetrius were taking. " Three musketeers" Viviana shouted before getting in the driver's seat of her car.

" Yeah and this musketeer feels like murdering the other two musketeers sixty five percent of the time" I received two punches, one from Caspian and one from Caius. " Who said that these two musketeers didn't feel like murdering the other musketeer" I rolled my eyes at them but chuckled, they make my day that much better. " Please Lils" Caius was now begging me so I eventually moved to the back seat, after Demetrius reminded us if we don't hurry up we will be late for school and have five minutes to get there.

" Why do you always have to be so difficult" Caspian moaned whilst breaking every speed limit possible trying to get to high school in five minutes. I rolled my eyes at him but internally I smiled, this is why my new family is the family I had longed for. " She may be difficult but you're a shit driver" We made it to school just in time, Caius only commented on Caspian's driving once we were getting out of the car, most likely he didn't want Caspian to drive very slowly to purposefully make us late. " We made it in four minutes, we live fifteen minutes away" Caspian fought his case, we were all good drivers some better than others. " Impressive" I added my little bit in making sure that I was being partial towards Caspian, Caius made me sit in the back today so I'm going to make him pay.

" Have you guys heard the news?" Viviana walked over to us very cautiously but we could tell that she was controlling her wolf, I knew that this wasn't good. " We have to help this arsehole's pack?"

" Yes but we have just been given a formal invitation to a pack dinner tonight..." Viviana looked over at me and I knew exactly why she had done so, she wasn't sure if I would be okay with seeing him. " Whatever" I said flipping my hand, like I said a mate wasn't something that I understood fully and my mother could deal without a mate and have a child without a mate and if that's the case then so can I.

We made our way inside the school as the bell rang, my classes before lunch were luckily without an Alexander Stone but my classes after lunch were. Up until Lunch my day was going normally, despite the stares and whispers of course. " I am starving hungry" Caspian said walking out of our class room before me and Caius did. " Even though the menu has been stolen from Stone Pack" We laughed at the insult that was directed at my mates pack, each pack receives the name from the Alpha which in this case is the Stone pack. The royal family doens't have a pack as techincally we are a part of all the packs around the world.

We walked into the cafeteria spotting our friends already sat in the far back eating their lunch whilst quietly talking to each other, emotionless as usual. We connected with them with our eyes, aware of all the stares around us, we were not people that liked to show emotions other than anger in front of a lot of people as that could show them that we were weak. We turned our walk towards the lunch line where the stench of badly cooked or under cooked in some cases food was already ready on the table. I opted in for the safe option of a chicken sandwhich and an apple before waiting for Caspian and Caius to get the exact same food as me. We walked over to the table together, never looking at anyone around us as we did not feel the need to do so.

" Do people here think that we're the next Kardashians?" Viviana rolled her eyes at the stares and carried on eating her salad, salad ew. " Kim Kardashian has a weird butt" Caspian commented on the females bottom making us all groan and roll our eyes. " Yes that's because it's fake you idiot" Maximus took a huge bite of whatever that was what he was eating.

" And so is this burger" he groaned whilst painfully swollowing his bite and wrapping the rest up and throwing it in the bin. " How's that chicken sandwich?" He said poiting at the sandwich that I was eating. " Eatable"

" I hope you all will be at this dinner" We turned our heads to the source of the voice, I basically had to twist my neck but cool. " You know it's very important" Emma MqQuay was stood near our table with her arms fixed on her hips, I looked directly into her eyes which were showing a lot of conflicting emotions. " We'll think about it" Demetrius replied to Emma which indicated that we could all turn around and carry on with eating the bad food. We heard a gruff of annoyance and a click of heels walking away.

" She is the most annoying werwolf I have ever met" I agreed with Arria and finished my sandwich. " If she can even count as a werewolf" I commented on Emma, we get access to all pack files and upon a little sneak peak of the Stone pack this morning we had figured out that half of them, including our Emma, have not trained or shifted into their wolf for a long time. Werewolf shifting is something that is very important to us, a werewolf can lose it's wolf if it does not shift frequently enough as the wolf can fall into depression and shut itself off completely and if that happens it's very unlikely that the werewolf would come back.

" Excuse me" his scent had hit me, he was stoof right beside me and his presence was not only infuriating me but also making me very anxious. " What?" Caspian replied rather harshly which Alexander did not appreciate as his snarl had indicated. " I will close my eye on your rudeness but my father has invited you to a pack dinner tonight" He was being too formal for his character. " Yes and I have already replied with the answer to your father therefore I am struggling to understand as to why you are giving us this information again?" Demetrius, or any of us for that matter, have never spoke to anyone but ourselves for longer than a minute.

" I take it that you are coming then?" He was making my wolf extremely angry and I didn't want to hurt anyone in this space so I snarled out a yes. I could tell that he was smirking even if he was stood behind me and I couldn't see his face. " That's pleasing, especially as I am announcing some very important information"

I looked up to come face to face with a puzzled Viviana, what is it that he wants to announce that must be this important to us too.
