Aki's POV
We had sex again. Something I promised to not do at work again, I did. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to settle down with Kyo, but the last time, Kando almost caught us. Oh well. What's done is done. I pick at my rice, and think about another funny story from our past. The time we bought a building.
1987
"Hey, Kyo, full time detectives don't have stands with cake that's years old by now!" We'd never actually given the cake to anyone. It just kinda sat there, as a decoration. We ate it, eventually. "Well, what do you wanna do about it?" he asked. "I say, we rent a building! Just a small-time office in an office farm!" I suggested crazily.
"No. That's stupid! Who's gonna pay attention to us small-fries?" he asked. "The same people that made us nearly a million yen!" Kyo reluctantly went with me to the building. It was the size of a small apartment, but perfect for us. We moved some desks and chairs in, got a commercial telephone number, and bought some computers. Soon, it looked professianal.
One day, we were sitting there, waiting for a client. Kyo was buying some new guns, and I was managing our case files. When Kyo got off the phone (presumably having bought some guns) he went back to investigating a case. However, he shrieked. I turned around and there was a huge spindly spider on the computer screen. We're both arachnophobic, so that was a nightmare. I got some glass cleaner, and sprayed the thing till it dropped. Then I got some tongs and tossed it out the window. If the glass cleaner didn't kill it, the 45 story drop sure did.
The funny part is, a few weeks later, we came in the office, sat down, and saw the wall was purely infested with spiders. We fainted, and woke up in the hospital, apparently injured due to dozens of spider bites. To this day, when I throw up, spiders come out my nose. I'm filled with spiders.
Anyways, I finished my rice and returned to my case. I see that the murders take place generally around the same area in a 25 mile radius. I quickly realize this could be a clue. I use the connect tool on the computer and narrow it down to one street. The only place of notice here is Bosley Radioelectronics. Then I use my expert hacking skills to see every peice of technology inside. I find one bit of something interesting. A printer. Not any printer, but I printer that has printed 439 pieces of paper. All of them 6 in x 6 in. Why is this interesting? 439 is the number of victims. Those diameters are the size of the calling cards.
I notice that my computer has been spotted on the network. As I'm trying to pull out, my computer is being hacked. I type rapidly, before my keyboard is disconnected from notice. I see eight words that make my heart stop. "COME AND GET US. WE'RE WAITING FOR YOU."
We need to go to Bosley!
