Act 10: The Wedding

Kyo's POV

The wedding is today, and I am excited. Me and my beloved Aki will finally be wed! I tighten my tie, button my trench coat, and put a flower in my front pocket. "By participating in this ceremony you two agree to be bound by a life contract, to love each other forever, and to hold hands through hardships, in sickness and in health, in life and death, say 'I do'," said Detective Kuzunoha. "Does anyone have any objections as to why these two should not be wed?" He waited, saw Kando bubbling ready to say something, waited more, then said, "Do you agree to the terms set by official marriage, Hoshitani Kyoji?" As you can see, he switched up the words a bit, but generally said the same stuff.

"I do," I almost whisper, excitedly. 

"Do you agree to the terms set by official marriage, Kanitago Akihiro?" 

"I, um, I d-don't. I mean I DO! I DO! Yes!" he screams. 

For the last part of the ceremony, Kuzunoha-san looks confused. "You may kiss the... bride? You may kiss the... groom? No, that ain't right... you may kiss, I guess?"

We kiss, and everyone, except Kando, who was muttering about how "Faggots like this shouldn't be married", cheered. I feel like grabbing an assault rifle from a cop and shooting him with it. Aki got extra ramen and an extra chopstick. We tried to eat the rice balls with them. It took a long time, but eventually we ate all the rice balls.
