Kyoji's POV

After baking that awful cake turned masterpiece with a spot of milk, we set it outside with our stand. It tasted much better after we moistened it. Anyways, this boy who was in middle school came to our stand and asked us to investigate a kid at his school who he thought was doing drugs and bullying other kids. So we did.

After showing up on the scene at Takanashi's school, we used our picture of the dude to go and find him. After finding him, we had to make sure we weren't seen. "Hey, umm, is this a good idea? I mean, if this kid is doing drugs and bullying kids, I'd say he's got a crew that can get us." asked Aki, worriedly. To make him feel better, I pulled my special thing out of my trench coat pocket. A .22, 9mm revolver. It was a BB gun of course, but still not allowed inside of a school. He looked much more relieved after seeing it. Then we began to watch him.

"Aki, he's going to the bathroom. Let's check his bag!" I said. "No way, they're still in class!" whispered Aki. "We're detectives, remember? If the teacher sees us, just show her your badge." What our badges actually were is wallets with old police ID cards.

We speed-walked into the room, and showed our badges to the class. I opened my trench coat and showed all my doohickeys to the class. "We're detectives, investigating your classmate. We're just going to search this room, and you'll not tell him. Deal?" We searched the room, trying not to be too noisy, found a bag of white substance, then ran out with it.

We examined the contents of the bag and figured that it was cocaine based on multiple test results. We took the bag to the police department and quickly found ourselves witnesses in court.

"Witness, please give your testimony." I began to testify. "My boyfriend and I had skipped school, and were inside of this middle school-" "HOLD IT!" screamed the lawyer. " Why did you skip school?" I used his question for my testimony. "I was investigating your client-" "HOLD IT! Why were you investigating my client?" Again, I used it for my testimony. "It was by request of another student, who's name I won't mention-" "HOLD IT! That doesn't answer my question. On what grounds was this investigation conducted?" he pressed. "My client suspected that your client was doing drugs at school, and so I investigated this for him-" "HOLD IT! May I see the report of your investigation?" he asked. "Yes you may. Now, our report lists all of the tests that lead us to believe that this was your client's cocaine-" "OBJECTION! You say this is my client's cocaine? But your report doesn't list a fingerprint test! This cocaine could be yours. Who knows?"

"Naruhodo-san... you're right. We didn't do fingerprint tests. There are no relations..." I said glumly. "Relations? What are those?" asked the lawyer. "Relations are the facts that can connect a piece of evidence to the case through another piece of evidence proved relative, a witness proved correct, or personally, meaning through a physical body."

"I request the witness perform a fingerprint test on the bag!"

In the end, it was my client who had the cocaine. He attempted to frame him for doing drugs because he stole his girlfriend. I swiftly tracked him down, arrested him, and had him pay me. Oh boy, I'm doing terrible, aren't I?
