Aki's POV

Kyo is looking at something. I look too. I see a man, standing by the bridge. He looks shady. Almost like he's going to jump into the waterfall...

No way, not possible... He sees us, then makes a break for it. I chase him, and so does Kyo. I instantly see where he's going: Bosley Industrial Works. We call off the hit on Bosley Systems and head straight to BIW. The other detectives follow suit, and soon we've surrounded Bosley Industrial Works. As we head inside we notice two things: One, the place is ginormous, and two, the military is there. We brush it off as them providing extra assistance, but they're cocking their guns and pointing them at us. I realize with horror that they're there to kill us.

"Oh yeah? Two can play at that game!" shouts Detective Kuzunoha. As all the detectives draw their guns, the military fires. They must be new recruits. Their aim is terrible.

I begin to shoot, killing with every shot. I start to enjoy blasting their brains out, and begin to do it at a much more rapid pace. The military pushes back, and we grab their rifles. At this point, they've got experienced soldiers.

The first of the detectives to die was Mei. She flew back, and bled out. There's no time to feel sad, though. We've got a job to do. Pushing forward, the detectives start to gain some leeway. Soaring overhead are military helicopters. Running into the building, I find more and more guns to use against the military..

I find a shotgun, and I'm set. Blasting away, killing left and right. I shouldn't enjoy this but I do. Eventually, I find a factory room. Inside, they're packaging computer systems. I have to stop them before the military kills them. I see a switch marked 'FULL STOP'. I pull it.

Suddenly, the whole system stops. I rush out into the main room, and evacuate them. There are a few more military people on the way, but I blast their brains out.

Kyo runs up to me. "Uhh, we gots more problems," he said, flustered. "What now? Do we not have enough problems?" I ask. "Well, you know how these people are real pyromaniacs? Well, they've got the place wired to blow. We gots ten minutes to find whatever we need to build a case, and then get the hell outta here!"

As if the military hasn't already stressed me out enough, now we only have ten minutes to build a case? Life isn't fair!!! Well, I already evacuated everyone, and anyone else who was here working has probably left, I can focus on finding something to make a case.

I walk into an office, and here's a strange note on the desk.

'20, 18, 1, 11, 11, 5, 18, 4, 1, 13' it read. I put it in my pocket and skedaddle. I realize this might be all we need. I tell my detectives to pull out, and soon we're outta there. Just in time too. The moment we get in our cars, the place blows up. I examine the note with Kyo. The instant he reads the whole thing he says, "Trapper Dam,"

"What?" I ask him. "These are English letter values. It reads Trapper Dam," he says coolly.

I scream into my radio, "Trapper Dam! Move out!" and skid down the road. After a few seconds, we've hit 95 mph. Pretty much top speed for this thing. Trapper Dam is literally on the other side of the city. We drive, and it takes a long time, but we finally make it.

We stand in front of the dam, dumbfounded as to how someone can get in there. I lean upside down and look into the waterfall, and at the bottom of the river, I see light. There is definitely someone in there.

I finally say, "You first Kuzunoha." Kuzunoha looks over the edge, then shrugs and leaps into the dam. I hear a lot of water on the other end of my radio, him screaming under water, and then breathing heavily.

I jump over the edge, sure that it's safe, but alas, it wasn't. The more I swim to the waterfall, the more I get dragged backwards. I see a pipe. Drainage pipe, probably leads to the water treatment plant. It sucking me in. Eventually, I make a dumb mistake and paddle, and the drainage pipe snags my hand. This thing is trying to pull me in. At this rate, I'm gonna drown!

I put my feet at the pipe and push away, but it does nothing against this pipe. In fact, I manage to get my feet stuck in there too. I feel lightheaded, and soon I find my vision fading. I frantically look around for something I can free myself with, but I can't see anything.

I accept my inevitable death, knowing I can't stay underwater much longer. But then, as I shuffle into a more comfortable position, I see it. A lever. It might increase the suction, it might turn off the suction. I don't care. I pull it, and soon, my body is free. I swim madly for the waterfall, knowing it would be a waste of time to go to the surface for air. Soon, I find myself behind the waterfall.

Pulling up into a platform, I see a smiling Kuzunoha, hand outstretched, probably relieved that I'm alive. I take his hand, and see more and more detectives come down into this secret room.

The room was fancy, lights stringing the high ceiling, white paint, white furniture. Upon further inspection, the place is small. There is only one door, and a staircase, probably leading to the surface. I'm still breathing heavily, and squeezing water out of places I didn't even know I had.

"Well, we gotta bust through that there door, ain't it?" says a familiar voice. Kyo! I'm sure happy to see him. I nod, and draw my gun. "3... 2... 1..." BAM! We burst through the door, and surprise two people. One, a man I know as Kazuma Kaneko, and another, I know him very well...
