Chapter 3

The only person who knew i often trespassed in wolf territories was the family mage, i had no choice but to tell her because i needed to hide my scent and change my look. I couldn't afford to be tracked down and actually die. I knew if they caught me, it would be the end of me as i had zero werewolf training.

So each time i went out, I'd drink the little potion and it would change my appearance each time, from my hair to my skin colour.

I preferably ran in the wolf territory because of the the trill of it. I was challenged by them because they chased me with a purpose.

Being Caroline Parker meant i was the strongest vampire ever bred, so that meant even the strongest and most elite vampires were no match for me. You should see us in training, it's like an adult repeatedly punching a toddler. It's sad really.

What i mean is, my powers are a million times better then any other vampire i have ever come across, except my father of course. So i cant even challenge myself with them because it literally feels like comparing myself to a newborn.

So, the wolves will stop at nothing to get me and snap my neck, and as scary as it sounds, im not frightened one bit. So this for me, can be seen as my training and teaching myself more about this territory and its residents.

This time, it's like they knew I was going to irritate them again with my presence, because their Alpha was there. I know this because just by looking at him i can see that he is was much bigger, stronger and faster and of course there's that unmistakable alpha radiation from him.

But then again, Caroline Parker loved a challenge so I didn't give up even though he was a bit intimidating.

I knew the forest very well and so did he, so at the end of the day it would just be a battle of who gives up first.

He started chasing me the moment my feet hit the earthly soil, so it has been a while.

In his eyes, he was chasing a caramel skined female with brown hair, and brown eyes, who smelt like peaches.

I climbed up a tree and made sure i kept a safe distance between me and the rest of them. I was in pretty good shape, but because of this grey-wolved alpha, I needed a break.

Based on my factual knowledge, the other werewolves would have stopped running like 20 minutes ago, which would have covered a 45 minute run without any stops. But this idiot didn't stop. I am impressed, i must say.

I was super high up in the tree, I doubt he could even recognise me 'cause I was that far away. But I? I could clearly see the rage on his face and his body language signalling that he is turning back but not giving up. I wish he could have seen my victory smirk.

Ryan's P.O.V

I was with my pack when I smelt a vampire from the opposite direction. I followed that scent fearing that they or that person might harm my pack, and it turns out that I was right, it was a female vampire.

She seemed surprised to see me, she must be the vampire that keeps on trespassing in various territories, including mine. But it stops now because when I get her, I'm going to rip her into shreads. I'm not taking any chances.

I have been chasing her for nearly 50 minutes until she then decided to climb up a tree and took a break. I am raging at this point because I know I can't get up there. If only I could contact Jeremy to land a helping hand. But I'm the future Alpha I can take care of this on my own.

I have to prove that not only to my family and my pack, but to myself as well.

I lose my attention when I'm mind linked by the Beta, informing me that I'm needed else where and it's very important. I give the little vampire a death glare before rushing back to the pack house.
