Chapter 2

Caroline's P.O.V

Who's Caroline? No one knows.

I'm sure everyone thinks I'm that girl who is always studying and focused on her books. And the idiot that's always drooling over Jeremy and planning an entire future in her head knowing very well that they can never be.

I don't blame them. Im always quiet at school, well that's because as soon as i got to that school, everyone had formed their own negative opinion about me. All this because im not flashy and i dont wear things that expose too much skin and i never host any epic-would be talked about for over 3 months-parties at my house. This was because i, unfortunately, couldn't go to an all supernatural school, so i was given a very long lecture by my father not to do anything that would draw attention to myself.

So everyone has reached the conclusion that im a nerd who doesn't understand the definition of fun and ways drowning in her books, hence the impressive grades.

But if anyone cared to get to know me, they would find that im just a really fun girl who is nice to everyone and absolutely love being around people. That and a whole lot more.

"Princess Caroline are you up?" asked Ashley, one of our caretakers.

Her job was to basically make sure i had everything i needed. She woke me up every morning, packed my books, set out my outfit for the day, packed my lunch, made sure my driver was ready when he needed to be. Then when i came back from school, set out my Princess outfit for what ever princess duties i had to tend to.

Oh yeah did I forget to mention that boring Caroline is actually the Princess of Durrett and is a Vampire?

Today I'm supposed to meet 'my prince' but I don't want to meet him. I'm not even done with high school yet and they already want to marry me off.

So how this works is, they make you marry some Tom, Dick and Harry who will bombard you with money and flashy things so that you are easily charmed into the family merging. Once the merge happens, both families accumulate power and money.

"Yes Ash. I'll be down in a minute." i reply.

"Well hurry, the guests will be here in 10 minutes." she says.

"Alright I'm getting my hair done." i say.

Oh yeah I'm getting my hair done alright, but not for Prince what's his face.

I tie my hair in a nice high ponytail and wore my ripped jeans and threw on my tank top then wore my Vans, took my back pack which had a few things that I will need and I jumped out the window and ran towards the woods.

My parents are going to freak when they find out I'm gone, but I don't care. I do what makes Caroline happy and all I want right now is to go for a run in let's say... a werewolf territory.

Why death? Because the taste of it gets my adrenaline going!
